FS: BLACKBERRY STORM 9500 UNLOCKED £130.00

Ive just sold a phone and as part of this deal i got this blackberry and some cash. I have no interest in keeping it as i have a htc, so thats why its going on here, if it doesnt sell ill stick it on ebay.

Ok, so important points: it is unlocked. No box, only the charger and the phone.

Scratches? It has no scratches on the screen- that is in excellent condition, on the top bit theres some little scuffs ive tried my best to show the up on the pictures, but as usual the flash makes it look a lot worse, but i want to be honest about this upfront. The back is generally pretty good condition too.

Apparantly the guy who bought this- got it off CEX who rated it as B condition, but i can not vouch for this. however i would say that the condition is very good and more than acceptable.

So £130 cash on collection or £130+whatever it costs to post (probably around £5-7 as RMSD)
Shipping/Payment:
Delivery will be something like £7 RMSD. I will accept paypal gift or bank transfer- will only send for BT when the money is in my account, paypal is more instant, so youd get the phone quicker via this method.

Cash on collection from either work (Leeds Uni), home (Shipley, Bradford).

Hi, i have not used the phone, therefore do not know. The emails were removed by the previous owner. Is there a quick fire way of checking this? Thanks

Maybe you should check ebay for one then- may find one for £20 quid if it doesnt come with a charger

To the guy asking whih software- again- how do i chck this? i assume its the original vodafone one as when i turn it off it comes with this logo. However like i said, i have not used the phone at all- apart from to check it all works fine.

.

my intention wasnt to take the micky........
From experience, I know how this would end up on ebay........ seen too many people getting skanked there with paypal disputes being opened etc.... specially with mobile phones
best of luck though!!

Is this any better than the 8900 curve?

okay fair enough mate, ive sold many phones on ebay before and yes you are right it is populated with muppets who will try to con you, but to suggest that it wont get more than 60 quid is outrageous. Even after paypal fees, id be looking ata lot more than that.
#12
To Zeus- not a problem- appreciate it in fact  may even buy it myself if no one buys this!

Faiza- i think its very subjective, i think this was released after the 8900 however, it may come down to peronal prefernce- qwerty or touchscreen...

at the end of the day, anyone would pay 60 quid for this phone as it poos all over something like a samsung tocco lite for that price, so it's obviously worth more. even though it's not quite the hit as the curve and bold were, it's still a good phone with 3g (which the 8900 lacks) that has had a recent firmware update to make it near identical as its succeeder (the 9550) i have sold plenty of things on ebay and have not been scammed, i would snap up phone like this for sensible counter offer, my mum just won't let me go on a contract sim or contract that would benefit from a phone like this, therefore am having to use my pants skypephone s2.

Has the BB service been used?
#15
i think as storm is exclusively with voda, the BB is registered with them unless the original owner ask to remove it..

call vodafone cs..

stick it on ebay mate, you will get £120 easy after paypal and fees, especially unlocked. People offering £60 should be banned as they are taking the colin nish!

Hi, mate, i offered a reason as to why i havent answered! I would assume that it isnt registered- i cant see cex selling it being registered, but then again i cant say for certain. is there a quick way of checking? I always assumed that you could remove an email and set your own up with or without BIS reistration- im sure ive seen tutorials on Google-as a few months ago my friend wanted to do the same- although a factory reset seemed to do the job for her.

If the device is no longer on a plan (owed money on the contract) then Vodafone should have no problem releasing the PIN.
using the phone with normal data plan is another thing mate.
let me know if the PIN is released or no.

Thanks

ask vodafone,if you are on contract with them they will provide it,otherwise you can purchase an unlock code, just google it

just got off the phone to Vodafone and after checking IMEI, the woman told me that it is completely unlocked and that in order to use all the blackberry features youll have to ensure that your data plan is for blackberry. So Mohd01, make me an offer?
#25
Can offer £85 delivered, can pay BT or ppg.
