I'm selling my boxed 60gb p3. It works perfectly and i've had no problems with it over the years. I was given a new slim one last week so this one has to go. I have the original purchase receipt which I will include (obviously there is no warrenty left now). All original accessories will come with the ps3.
Also with it comes a brand new unopened play tv.
I am also selling the games in the photo below as most have been sitting there gathering dust.

I'm NOT looking for trades, just money.

Forgot to add, the controler has a sometimes sticky left joystick, 80% of the time it is fine, sometimes it stays in the up position. (To fix just pull it down with your thumb)

The console is in excellent / as new condition, the photos do not do it justice, the marks you can see is dust and not scratches

The shop the guy interested in your Play TV was reffering to was GAME.

You can't link to an offline shop, but GAME are doing it for £19.99 in store. (Which is the same as the online price, but they have none in stock online) They do have some in stock in my local GAME however.

So I guess you'll have to undercut that for anyone to buy it from you.

I posted this before for your benefit, but it seemed to have deleted itself.

Thanks for the offer- to be honest i was looking for more than that. I know people have said they can get it for £20 but i don't know if they still have it in stock - everythere ive looked on the net they are priced at £50 - £70.

I'm going to wait for the above poster to get back to me, i might sell the playtv seperately but would rather sell with the ps3.

Hi,

Do you know when the "Play TV" product was purchased, &/or from where? Do you have any (other) proof of purchase; for example the original price sticker or the carrier bag or packaging from the retailer?

Thanks for your time replying.

Nothing mate, I think I know what the problem is, people saw the argos deal and recon i purchased this for £5! - I didn't.

See this thread from 10/5/10 - my anniversary was on 9/5/10 (thats what the gift was for)
http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/674717/whats-it-worth

this was posted on 16/5/10 - nearly a week later
http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/679231/ps3-slim-250gb-play-tv-freeview-tun

hope this clarifies that I didnt buy it cheap and trying to make a profit

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks for your prompt reply & the additional information.

It wasn't my concern; I was looking for proof of purchase in case I needed to make a warranty claim (& also so I had some form of receipt if I ever need to make a contents insurance claim).

I see, though, that you made no reference to the "Play TV" product in the "EXPIRED - Whats it worth" thread.

I am keen to purchase, but £35 is still too much to consider given that it has been as low as £19.99 (new) & is often discounted around £25.00 at retailers... although I appreciate no links can be provided of items in stock at this current date.

If the box has never been opened & all the contents are still sealed inside (to the best of your knowledge) as I acknowledge you will not know if you have never opened the box [d'uh! :)], then I can really only offer £25 (inclusive of Royal Mail Recorded [Signed For] Delivery postal costs) with payment by PayPal (not "as Gift"; fees paid by me) or cash deposit into a high street bank branch.

If that offer is too low, then that is fine, I respect your decision. However, if your expectations on price should change please come back to me.

Thanks again.

Thanks. Sorry, I should have qualified my decision to not use the "as Gift" PayPal option.

In case you were not aware; it was introduced to send funds between family & friends not for the exchange of goods & services. Should it be used in this manner & the item purchased was lost in transit then PayPal will not represent the interests of either party for a mutual resolution (if they ever do!).

What is your preference? Bank deposit (on Monday, now, sorry), or PayPal payment later this evening (when I return home from work, but in time for you to receive the funds if you wish to post the item tomorrow)?

I'm easy either way. The funds in your bank on Monday should be able to be drawn upon immediately (as I will be depositing cash into your account), but your PayPal account may have a delay to withdraw the funds if that was your intention.

If you wish to proceed by bank deposit please let me have (by way of a "PM") the following details:

Your Bank's Name
Your Bank Branch's address
The Branch's Sort Code

Your Bank Account Name
Your Bank Account Number

Your personal address
A contact telephone number

If you wish to take a PayPal payment please let me have the following information:

Your PayPal account (e-mail) address

Your (PayPal verified) personal address
A contact telephone number

I appreciate you have great feedback (comparable with mine) but the only time I did not ask for this information I lost money; so apologies if you think I am being overly cautious.

PS. If I may, and please take this comment as it is intended, I think the price you are seeking for your 60GB PS3 console is too high.

I bought & collected a console of this type (with 10 PS3 titles & some other accessories included) last November for £240.

If you were to consider lowering your expectations on price you may find more parties are interested.

BFN,

fp.

Details received & I have replied with my own. I will make the payment this evening as promised (& I also asked if you could kindly send the Royal Mail Recorded [Signed For] Delivery barcode reference you receive to me by "PM" once you have despatched the item).

Once I have sent the payment I will contact you by "PM" to confirm it has been made.

Have a good weekend.

BFN,

fp.

[EDIT]: You may wish to change the asking price (currently £300) in the opening thread description in case it confuses somebody new to the thread who leaves quickly because of the change in price from the revised title "FS: Boxed, fully working 60GB PS3, £170 delivered".

Hi,

I have just (at 11:33pm) sent a PayPal payment of £26.09 (£25 + £1.09 with fees) to you.

The Transaction Reference was "0GE69370AL314204D".

My account shows that the fees (calculated using the PayPal Fee Calculator written by Ryan Olbe) were not deducted, so you may well end up with £26.09 in your account.

If that is the case, could you kindly return £1.09 back to me so the net result is £25.00 payment to you?

Thanks.

Sorry to threadjack but i'm almost 100% certain that he will only get £25 in paypal as the fees go straight to paypal and not the person because you have the option of either yourself paying the fees or the seller to pay the fees

Thanks for your input.

Ordinarily when I send PayPal payments using the "Goods" option (not the "as Gift" option) the fees deducted are displayed after the transaction has been finalised. On this occasion though the fees were displayed as £0.00 & £26.09 has left my account.

I am not sure why, as I did everything as I always do, so it may be a fault with the PayPal service at present.

Hi, I have no use for the power lead as the slim ps3 has a different fitting. The USB lead is not worth more than £1 anyway mate. I can do for £165 delivered just because I want to get rid of it now as the box is taking up space in my room
