I have just recently upgraded my mobile phone contract, and have decided to sell my upgrade to raise a bit of cash!

Its a brand new Samsung Jet still sealed, and Sim Free.

This website gives all you need to know about the phone, as I have never used it so cant comment!

Any questions feel free to ask!!

You can also check out my Ebay feedback.

HANDSET IS NOT SIM FREE - ITS LOCKED ONTO VODAFONE!

Update - To my knowledge this phone is infact unlocked and is unbranded. A relative has the same phone on the same Vodafone account in which it was upgraded on only 3 weeks ago. They have tried an orange sim and a three sim.

It appears the three sim doesnt work, but the orange sim does.

Sorry for the confusion.

Bump!!

I offer you 220 cash and will come and collected Sunday from you as long as you have paperwork to prove it is your. Just to confirm it sim free
#4
thanks for the offer, but £220 is way to low. When you say prove its mine, what do you mean? I dont have a receipt if thats what you mean? It was a contract upgrade so they just sent it me via courier.
#5
Ok sure you must have a delivery note?
#6
Hmm may have it somewhere, or it may have been thrown. I had a confirmation of contract come through today, but it doesnt mention the phone on it!

Bump 2....

I am making a final offer of 240.00 and can collect 2moro. Can you proof its yours. I have looked around and found if you sold if on other internet site there could be fee.

Sorry just realised its not Sim Free.

I always thought that if it was in the plain manufactures box like in the picture without any logos on it would be Sim Free, but I just upgraded the same handset for a relative and I have just rang her to try another sim card for another network and it doesnt work.

Sorry should have noticed earlier, but didnt want to open the box!

Your probably not interested now but I have found the despatch note.

you can get a free unlock from Vodafone anyway, as you are on contract with them.
#11
Can you do that without taking the phone out of the box? If I take it out of the box it could damage its re-sell value as people can be a bit dubious over whether the phone is actually brand new.

you could at least get the code and pass it on to the buyer

Sorry for the confusion, my relative has just rang me to inform me that she has just tried an Orange SIM in her contract Vodafone Jet, and it does work. The SIM she tried before was the Three Network, and that didnt seem to work. So it must just be Three? And she informs me there is no Vodafone branding anywhere on the phone.

I am offering 220 and can collect on Sunday as you now tell me it locked to Vodafone.

It is not locked to Vodafone, sorry for that confusion. If you read my last post, you will see that my relative who has the same handset on the same Voda contract (she is on our account) has tried an orange sim in her phone, and it works. So it is not locked to Vodafone. Can I also emphasise that to my knowledge, there is no Vodafone branding to the phone, and it comes in a Samsung box, as can be seen in my picture.. not a Voda box. Even if it was locked to Voda (which it isnt to my knowledge, I could arrange for it to be unlocked for free of charge anyway..)

£220 is too low. I have been closely following a Jet on Ebay, which ended a couple of hours ago at £258 (and that had been opened, this one hasn't)
:)
#16
I was really looking for £250 for it, could you not go a bit higher?

With regards to the delivery note, as you are aware I have found it but it does contain one of my lines numbers on there which belongs to a relative, so if I photocopy the delivery note with that number blocked out and also the account holders name ( obv for security reasons ), then that would be fine.

I can understand your worried, but I am genuine. I have been around here for a long time, and have an Ebay feedback that speaks for itself, I also occasionally sell on AV forums.
#17
Sorry my top offer of 240.00 still stands. Please let me know within the hour.
#18
Ok tranceboy you have a deal, as long as your ok with what I said about the Delivery note. I really dont want to be giving personal details out to do with our Vodafone account, so I am sure you can understand.

However I am willing to give you a copy of the delivery note with various bits that are irrelevant to the phone cancelled out.
