ive got internet through my bt phone line but its not with bt its through pipex, can i still use the home hub for my internet?

To enable it to work on an ISP other than BT it needs a custom firmware to be flashed onto it. Only certain models of the hub support it.

I hope this doesn't upset the OP (if so im more than happy to remove this post) but ive got a modded one that will work on any ISP. Looking for £30 delivered.

I'm with BT and have three similar modem/routers [2 white, 1 black]. They can be unlocked for use with other ISP's and they also contain a print server , so you can hitch up any printer with a usb cable for wireless use .

Yes , it shows up on my network as a Samba Server .You just plug in your Printer and asign an ip address and your Printers gone wi-fi .Haven't tried it myself yet but , will.
