I'm selling a Compaq Presario laptop.

Specs are:

Processor - 900-MHz AMD Mobile Duron
RAM - 256MB (not sure which type)
Screen - 14.1-inch active-matrix screen
Graphics card - integrated Via ProSavage KN133 graphics chip with 16MB of SDRAM
Hard drive - 20GB 2.5". I think it's a Toshiba...
CD-RW/DVD-ROM drive.
2 USB 1.1 ports
OS: Ubuntu Fiesty Fawn. The laptop comes with a XP Home Edition COA and serial # attached to the bottom of it so if you have an XP disk, you can reinstall it.

Now for the faults:
2 cracks on the lid (will be shown in the pics
Floppy drives broken (but who needs those eh)
Ethernet ports not working, but I think AV1989 (or something) is selling a PCI network card.
Battery doesn't hold charge for longer than a minute. New battery would cost around £20 I think, but it comes with an AC adapter so if you don't plan to use it on the go it's ok.

Asking price is £50 + delivery, or pickup can be arranged. Payment via BT is preffered, but would also accept a personal payment via PayPal. This would be a good laptop for people who just want to type stuff out, or if you get a network card then you can just install it and surf the net. Up to you...

Pics coming soon, hold tight.

i used to use a netgear wg111t USB dongle on it when i had xp, but ubuntu's known for having trouble with wireless adapters so you'd have to reinstall xp.
