I've checked the usb part and it's bent, so won't fit in usb port. You can have it for 50p if you think you can straighten it out.

Not really. The rules do not state that the seller has to sell to the first member who offers asking.

If 3 people offer the asking price, then the seller is free to choose whatever member they think will give the easiest transaction. That could be the 1st person to offer, or the last person.

there is still a queue, and if I'd have offered first on something, and a seller sold to a person who offered after me, I wouldn't buy from that seller again.

It doesn't apply to you, as you are a established member, but say i was selling a PS, and a member with 1 post wanted it first, and you wanted it second, i'd choose you, as it will be more likely that the transaction will go through without a hitch.

fair point, but then the newer member has to be given a chance to build up feedback, otherwise they would be stuck there forever :)

Its confusing though as someone made an offer for the usb stick before me but then the seller changed price so I was first to offer the OP the asking price but not the first to make an offer so I am not sure the best thing myself.

He was the only person interested in the dongle so when I found out it was broken I offered it to him, if it wasn't bent I would have sold him it for £4 so I thought it was only fair to give him it for postage as it would have been binned. I do get your point tho

I could do £2.50 as its going to cost about a fiver for the power adapter, and I'd be fine to wait till after Xmas
