Model: Dell Dimension 4600
Processor: Intel Pentium P4 2.8GHz
Memory (RAM): 512MB DDR2
Memory (HDD): 80GB (7,200RPM)
CD/DVD: 48X CDRW and 16X DVD-ROM
Monitor: Dell 17" Flat Panel Digital LCD
Graphics: 128MB NVidia GeForce FX5200
Sound: Soundbalster Audigy 2 Sound Card
Speakers: Harman Kardon Speakers x 2 and Subwoofer
Keyboard/Mouse: Logitech Wireless Keyboard and Mouse plus spare Dell Mouse.
Networking: Linksys Wireless-G PCI Adapter (Connect to the internet using a
wireless router)
Network Card (connect to internet using Ethernet Cable)
Software: Genuine Windows XP Home Edition, Microsft Works 9.0 plus original
software titles that came with PC.

Great first PC for wireless internet access, office applications, multimedia and light gaming.
Good specification system for older Intel Pentium 4 generation of processors with plenty of extras (cost nearly £1000 when purchased new from Dell).
Execellent Condition - it's hardly been used in the last year since buying a new laptop.
Hard drive has been recently formatted with all latest software and drivers installed including Windows XP SP3, AVG 8.0 and Zone Alarm. Spent a whole day doing all this!

System is in a clean, virus free and problem free state.

Note: Wireless keyboard has slight cosmetic and operational damage due to nail varnish remover being spilt on it. CTRL key in bottom left corner of keyboard gets jammed when pressed but it can easily be released again.

Item location is in Leicester.

Collection is preferred. Depending on location, personal delivery may be arranged for a small charge (mainly to cover costs).
Shipping/Payment:
Delivery or Collection/Paypal Gift.

I personally think you may have overpriced this : the base unit would probably go for about £50-60, the monitor about £40 etc.

You can just about buy a C2D with a 17" used monitor for this much..

I personaly don't think this is worth much more than £100 and that's only because you have included your monitor in this.

Although it's a few years old, it's a Dell factory built using good quality parts. Spec was beefed up at the time costing nearly £1000 when new. System has loads of extras, genuine copy of Win XP which costs £50-£60, dedicated sound and graphics, speakers and sub, wireless keyboard and mouse, wireless network adapter etc It's a clean PC which runs quite fast with still some good use left in it.

£250 may be a little high side but buyer is getting a decent system in good condition with plenty of extras.
Willing to come down a little on price if anyone is seriously interested.

In this day and age the CPU is rather/very old compared to modern CPU's and ableit the fact it runs pretty well, it won't be very good for mcuh else other than web browsing etc..
Personally the CPU is a P4 which had the Netburst arcitecture which many regard as ****... :whistling:
You will HAVE to reduce your price a lot as people are after good deals here.... lol... I'm sure about a year or two ago you may have just been about able to get £250 but nowadays its old tech...

Thanks, I'm in no desparate hurry to get rid of it, certainly not willing to let it go for next to nothing so will stick to my guns for the time being.
