I get nearly 3 hours out of it (have a spare battery by the way, which I could add for £20), but an official battery drain test by cnet gives it 2:23 http://reviews.cnet.com/laptops/dell-xps-m1330/4505-3121_7-32465545.html So approx 6 hours with the spare battery :thumbsup:

can you have both batterys in at once like old dell's? or is it a swap arrangement?

Swap - very simple of course. And they are those batteries where you can press a button on the back to see its health metre. One of them is only 4 months old and been used exactly twice. It's been stored in the fridge since (apparently the best way to store these batteries! :))

Yes, original owner and in my name. Just checked the Dell warranty offer (their rep will phone me back Mon or Tues to see if I want it) and it is
1 extra year = £80
2 = £92
3 = £115

No marks or damage - used by my wife in the house only. Comes with the branded sleeve.

Never had a single issue with it, and nothing has been changed or replaced since it was bought, even the RAM.

EDIT: also note that any video card related issues are automatically covered by dell for an extra 12 months out of warranty - so your motherboard and video card will be replaced NBD if the video card fails

ok, thanks. Just to warn you and any other potential buyers that the Dell agent phones me again tomorrow at lunchtime or soon after, and I have to make a final decision about whether to pay the extra £115 to extend the Next Business Day at home warranty for a further 3 years. If I don't do it tomorrow, I lost the option I think.. .... was really hoping to get a sale sorted by then ....
