Had the laptop nearly a year now, it is in like new condition (no scratches or faults). I'm selling the laptop because it barely gets used, also the extra funds towards Christmas wouldnt go a miss.
The laptop is extremely portable, light, attractive and powerful enough for all desktop work and most games. Nothing is missing or damaged, all the accessories/discs and extras I purchased with this laptop are in the box, packed and ready. I will format the hard disk (to erase all my stuff) and load a fresh image of Windows Vista for you, so software will be in a factory state.

The buyer will get all the paperwork, includes invoice. The motherboard and graphics card has been upgraded, by a dell engineer, so there will be no heat issues or problems.
I will transfer the 2 year warranty/ownership over to perspective buyer via dell website, so it will be under your name, as will the accidental damaged cover.

this is very low spec for the price,
ull be looking at 300-400 max.

I paid 620 3 weeks ago for the BRAND NEW Dell Studio 17 (4GB ram) (160GB hd) 256MB GRAPHICS.

Considering I have already been offered £500 I'm inclined to disagree . As for the spec, its not that low at all, an extra 2GB of ram only costs £25, the difference between a 2.5ghz Intel core 2 duo mobile chip and 2.2ghz is minimal and i have the insurance which cost me £120. But uh thanks for your input dgoulston.

to a credible member im sure it would be safe, and that is what he posted. i doubt the op will post first to a low posting low feedback or new member.
Seems a very well laid out thread, lots of info and considering the warranty and insurance, the price is actually pretty fair.

Good luck with the sale azza21
