It will come within the original packaging that it was received in and I will also download & install the latest release of Ubuntu Netbook Edition onto it as well, so it's a fresh installation for the buyer to use - I'll also include an email copy of the receipt that Matt had provided to me as well, so you can retain it for your records.

Ideally I'm looking for £110.00p in cash (either upon collection or via a meet-up in London within Zone One) but I would also be interested in a trade option as well - the reason for selling it off is it's not being used at all (originally I had purchased it out to help a friend but he sorted himself out with another netbook) and I would prefer that somebody get some satisfaction out of using it.

I will provide digital photos of the netbook this evening/tomorrow morning (I've used a temporary image off of the internet for the time being), which will also include my username & date on it, and I will also be available to answer any questions posted on this deal thread.

Links to digital photos of the netbook.

How long is the warranty left on this Scotty? Any scratches at all.......and how is the battery (as you did mention a problem in the original thread)?

I can offer £100 and meet in London.

Hello There, the warranty lasts until 27/03/2010 (according to the Dell UK's online warranty check) - there are a couple but hardly noticeable, as it's fine from a cosmetic perspective. Once I reinstall Ubuntu onto it I can test out the battery for you to see what runtime I get during an internet browsing session.

There's no problem with it - I had originally purchased it to help out a friend (whose own Dell Mini 9 had died on him, with his running out of the warranty period) but by the time he got back to me he had already purchased a new replacement netbook for himself.

I'll accept your offer if your alright to wait for me to get back to you regarding the Ubuntu install and the battery testing.

Cheers, Scotty Boy!

Apologies but I won't be able to get the photos done until tomorrow morning now along with the install of Ubuntu - I'm stuck at work just now, as I'm working on a scheduled outage which is royally overrunning.

Cheers, Scotty Boy!

Hi Scotty Boy - thanks for the info.

I've been waiting on the photo's, but due to concerns about the battery, the short warranty period and the fact it only has a 8gb SSD and a few small scratches.........I think I will have to withdraw my interest.

Good luck with the sale - Im sure it will snapped up. Shame Im just a little too fussy. Cheers

Would you be interested in a trade for an xbox 360, banned?

Sorry mate, I'm not really a gamer and wouldn't have the room for it.

I'm off to expire the deal and advertise it elsewhere.

Cheers, Scotty Boy!
