Need the money to feed the hobbies, so looking at selling this if the price is right.

This is a great box. Worked perfectly fine from day 1. Never had the early problems of most boxes where they were reported to overheat on hd channels.

Currently have it installed with the dream-elite 1.3 oe1.6 image and secondstage 76, although can change over to any other images the OP would prefer if they wanted (just so it was ready for them as soon as they received it.

Made a little adjustment to the box, by remove the small little plastic feet that were included with it, and replacing them with higher feet, just to that there was more room for air to pass through under the box, and to give more heat dissipation...

Can offer the new purchaser as much support as they require.

I'm sure the new purchaser will get a lot of happiness from the box like it has me... Works absolutely great, but just need the money now!

Looking for £325 delivered please, as this cost me about £400 when I got it!

Cheers

This is for satellite reception, as it has a satellite receiver in the box...

If it were cable only, then possibly yes.

But this is used to receive satellite reception channels, not cable. Put in any subscription card, tell the dish to point to the satellite your subscription is on (if it's a motor), and watch by using CCcam, which can use virtually all cards available.

There are other ways to use this box, but I'm not sure I'm allowed to talk about that on this forum. But if you have a google search for cccam & dm800, then I'm sure you'll find out :)

this is for satelite, not cable. the S at the end gives it away

To be fair, I had only just edited the thread to have the S on the end (as I'd originally forgotten to put it on). So hopefully our replies will stop any further confusion...

Hi I currently have sky with a hd box. If I connect this to the sky dish replacing my hd box will I get all the channels without moving the dish?. do I use my existing sky card?.

I am very interested

Yup, works with exactly the same dish. Basically, just take out the f-connector to the sky box (either will do), and plug it in to the dreambox. Boot up the box, ensure you have a decent channel list loaded (there's even one that emulates the sky listings), and it works fine.

You will need to setup the config file for CCcam to read the card. This means that you will need to find out the box key, and then put this in to cccam. However, if you didn't, you'd still get most of the channels, just that it won't read the premium channels (i.e. sport and movies).

If you need any more info, then I'd be more than willing to help out.
