My back-up guitar for sale. Its a Yamaha RGX420S, a very good player with versatile controls. Got it from a friend a month ago, i assume that he had it for a couple of years as the guitar has 2-3 nicks but nothing that will affect the playability.

Specs/controls:
Construction: Bolt-on
Scale Length: 25-1/2"
Fingerboard: Rosewood
Radius: 13-3/4"
Frets: 24
Body: Solid Alder
Vibrarto System: Double Locking Tremolo
Pickups: Humbucker (Ceramic) x 2
Pickup Switch: 5-position
position1=neck humbucker,
position2=neck humbucker in parallel
position3=neck humbucker+bridge humbucker
position4=bridge single coil(near neck)
position5=bridge humbucker
Controls: Master Volume, Master Tone
Direct Output SW: This model houses a "blower switch" that allows you to bypass all pickups for full on bridge humbucking sounds
Coil Split: By P/U Selector

Any questions feel free to ask. Or if you need extra pics.
Shipping/Payment:
Buyer pays shipping costs as the price is low enough. I am located in Glasgow but travel every once and a while to Edinburgh and nearby towns. The guitar doesnt have a gig bag or a case but if shipped i will put it in a box or something and package it carefully so no worries about damage during shipping.
well no more than usual if we are using Royal mail...

Hi, any chance you could put up some more pics? Do you know the last time the strings were changed? What is the action like on it? Cheers.

Strings were changed less than a week ago by me, put some Ernie Ball in it as i like them better and the guitar was setup. The action is low so it can handle fast metal songs. Here are some extra pics as well.:thumbsup:

Cheers for the photos, there's no fret buzz off it when playing is there? Can I ask why you're selling it so soon after getting it? Also, are you open to offers or holding out for the price you've stated? I'm in Glasgow so if I was to go for this I would collect it.

No fret buzz at all, not even when played without an amp, I am very picky with these things. The reason that i am selling is that i have other high end guitars and this was supposed to be the detuned back up guitar but the band i play decided not to use detuned sounds live, not even at practise, so there is no need for me to keep it anymore...

Since i am not desperate for cash i wouldn't normally negotiate the price but since you are in Glasgow the deal would be done faster without too much fuss, so go ahead. :)

BTW dont worry about it being detuned, i can put it back to E standard tuning in no time despite the locking tremolo.

What about £125 for it if I picked it up? I really don't 'need' another guitar, but been thinking about getting a locking trem one for a while now. I see there's no whammy bar in the pic, do you still have it? Cheers

Well its a bit lower than what i expected but ok since you live in Glasgow we save a lot of fuss. 125 it is.:thumbsup:
Would you like it to be put back to E standard tuning btw? it's still one step down.

Also I have the tremolo bar, i just didn't bother to take a pic of the guitar with it.:whistling:

Brilliant, it's a deal! Yeah, I would really appreciate if you could take it back up to standard E tuning! Let's take it to PM and arrange details. Cheers.
