Still not the end of January, so i'm in need of some quick cash!!

I'm looking to sell either of these games for payment by BT today or tomorrow, prices are;

Prince of Persia (PS3) - £20

Bad Company (PS3) - £18

Both games are in excellent condition, I've hardly played either (PoP was new at Xmas, played once). As stated, need a quick sale... I wouldn't usually ask for payment first, but its urgent! Games will be posted tomorrow first thing tomorrow!

Thanks for any help!!

Hi,

I could be interested in "Bad Company" [PS3] if the condition is 'as new' (as you allude to).

Do you have time before "tomorrow" (even though I notice you listed yesterday & quoted that you would be despatching today), to provide photos of the item?

As ever, I'm interested in the condition of the front & back of the box, the colour inlay, the front & back of the instruction booklet/manual, and the front & back of the disc.

If it doesn't pass for new, then it's not for me.

Also, if you have similar photos of the "Prince of Persia" [PS3] title, I may buy that too.

I presume both titles are UK/PAL format & commercially available releases (rather than advance or promotional items). Please could you confirm this?

Thanks for your reply in any respect.

BFN,

fp.

Sorry for the delayed reply fanpages, I can honestly say they are in both great condition but will gladly take some quick snaps later on this evening for you! Also neither of the games are promotional versions.

If you do decide to buy both, I will sell for £32 inc p&p.

Thanks,
gaz

No need to apologise.

Thank you for quoting a price for the two titles (was the p&p via Recorded Delivery?), and for replying to my queries. I did ask about whether they were UK/PAL editions... but I suspect that probably got lost in my rambling text.

I would like to see photos in advance of committing to the purchase of one or both so, yes, if you could organise this then I would be grateful. It will also help others make offers on the games, so if they are not for me, then you will at least attract some others to your thread.

If anybody else makes any offer (unconditional, or otherwise) in the meantime, please follow that to conclusion.

Thanks again.

Thanks for your time here.

If I'm honest it is difficult to tell the condition; I appreciate you are restricted by your camera.

The reason I was trying to ascertain if the titles were UK editions (rather than just PAL) is because I don't really want to buy, for example, an Australian edition of "Prince of Persia".

I can see "Battlefield: Bad Company" has a "16+ http://www.PEGI.info" rating, & I think I can make out "Region 2" on the reverse. Is that correct?

The "Prince of Persia" UK/PAL edition should have "12+ http://www.PEGI.info" on the front cover & "Region 2" on the reverse. The Australian/PAL edition has a "PG" rating (on the front). I can see, from your camera image, that the front cover does not have this.

Is there any chance you can borrow a higher resolution camera to take larger images?

Sorry to be a pain... but both titles are for presents & I wish to make sure they are as near to "shop new" as possible (as well as being UK editions).

BFN,

fp.

EDIT:
PS. Where are you in the UK? Maybe local collection is an option.

Hi again,

I currently won't be able to take any higher resolution currently due to work, also I will be away this evening! I've checked the discs regarding your questions;

Bad Company does state "16+ & http://www.PEGI.info" on the front cover and has the "Region 2" logo on the back cover.

I've checked Prince of Persia as mentioned, again the "12+ & http://www.PEGI.info" you mentioned is on the front cover and again the "Region 2" logo is on the back. Regarding the "PG" rating, this is actually on the front of the disc!

Hope the information is useful, and also I live in Manchester so local collection is out of the window I guess

Many thanks,
gaz

Hi again,

Although born in region, no, I have no plans to return this weekend :)

I though the "PG" label may have been the case as it was obscured by the paper with your name upon it in your photo.

I cannot check what is supposed to be printed on the disc, but I'm fairly sure it is supposed to match the front of the box. Did you have this item from new? Sounds a bit odd.

As for "Battlefield: Bad Company", as you know I have directed another interested party to this listing, so hopefully you'll achieve a sale there instead.

Again, I know the photos are not great & you have done the best you can, and I am grateful for your time/effort.

However, I am particularly fussy on conditions of video games (as you'll see from my numerous past trades here at HotUKDeals [and elsewhere]). With the reassurances that I need, I will, unfortunately have to decline interest for now.

Thanks again... and good luck with the sale & your current financial situation.

Fan Pages, can i ask, how come everytime someone lists something, you ask (expect) people to go to such great lengths for you, and you basically disect the whole item and listing, to an extent that seems crazy, considering its a 2nd hand item, lol!

Don't want to start any kind of arguement lol, just think, your trading in used threads sometimes, so item is in 'used' condition. You always seem to want item spotless, and sometimes items aren't even to the standard you expect when bought new! So if it means that much to you, why don't you just buy something from new, as seem to waste a lot of time and effort going back and forward with sellers, to then find its not to your satisfaction! :?

People come on to sell new or 'used' items, and they state which. Then before they know it, its like your asking people to go out they're way to find high res camera's, take pictures of every speckle on a case, disc, manual, leaflet, etc, etc. Just seems crazy that for someone so picky, you still wana buy 2nd hand goods. Buy new surely, if you feel this way, lol!

No offence taken... a very valid question.

I always ask politely if photos can be taken. I do not expect it. If the seller prefers not to, or cannot take photos then I do not pursue & go elsewhere. Even if it is an item that is hard to find.

If somebody lists an item as "badly scratched", or "booklet creased", or whatever, then I do not bother with it.

But in this case, Mr McDonald, sir, two words drew me to the items... as taken from the original post on this thread:

"excellent condition".

In every instance (unless I am interested in an item only available overseas), I have to be sure that the items are UK/PAL editions (not just PAL format); and here I'm still not sure that the "Prince of Persia" disc matches the box (or indeed if it was bought from new).

Maybe you can afford to lose £18 & £16 respectively here. I cannot.

Sorry if my lines of questioning bother you. I have received comments previously from other members complimenting me on asking in-depth queries (not just with video games) as issues have been highlighted that they would never have thought to check & they have saved their cash.

Please check my feedback here, at AVForums, and eBay for parties who haven't found my "probing" a problem.

Just be glad you were not the seller on eBay who sold me a £17,500 Land Rover Defender.

Imagine how fussy I was with that!

I think you'll find all those who have an obsessive-compulsive disorder & collect specific items are much the same as myself.

Just to let you fp know, and others interested, that Prince of Persia was brought from new in December from Argos (may even have the receipt still) so the game is definitely the PAL version.
