FS: Faulty Playstation 3 40GB £35.00
So, my Playstation 3 died.
I really can't be bothered to open it up and see why and I already have a second one upstairs that will be promoted to downstairs living space, so if someone would like it as a project they are welcome to it.
I don't know what the problem is, but I'd guess at it overheating. It was happily playing a DVD when it suddenly switched off and beeped 3 times. I switched it back on and it started to do a disk check, but promptly switched itself off with the 3 beeps again (I noticed the light went yellow before it powered off and sat blinking red).
I've left it a couple of days, and now it doesn't even bother trying. Just beeps 3 times and back to blinking red light.
It is in very good condition and has been looked after. I can provide the box and the power lead, but I'll be keeping the controllers for my other console.
I think £35 is a fair price.
Not after any trades (unless you are willing to trade a faulty PS3 for a working one!).

Cooleyes: If you mean £35 plus delivery costs, fine, but due to the weight I'm not going to do it at 35 delivered. This is why I put collection.
Don't live near otherwise I will collect to save some money.

Just seen the details of the link you gave, 3 Days + Delivery of Hermes UK Economy looks cheaper to me. I don't mind time just need the cheapest.
