Really hoping someone who has a Ferroli Domicompact F30B Boiler wants to purchase a Pump Assembly from me.

GC No. 47-267-38

Part no. 39809060

Comes with the receipt from the supplier which has a 12 month warranty (expires 28 Dec 2011) - but they said if it developed a fault in this period they have to send it to Manufacturers (assume that means you wouldn't get an immediate replacement until Ferroli had agreed to it)

I check email at least once a day if you have any questions I will try to answer them based on documentation that I have

The story is.......

Our Ferroli Boiler (4.5 years old) broke down on Boxing Day. Upon inspection it was dripping water. Managed to find a gas safe registered expert to attend to us on Boxing Day. It appeared one of the seals had gone hence dripping water and fused the system. Seal changed, another one started dripping, we went through 4 as one by one they dripped. F5 fault then showed. Expert said the Pump had gone. Could not get a new pump from his supplier until at least Weds 29th Dec 2010. Upon Weds 29th his supplier didn't have it in stock and Ferroli weren't at work until 4th January. I did an Ebay search and found a supplier of Ferroli pumps 20 miles from me. I phoned them. Whilst they didn't have any in his stock he could get one within the hour at a cost of £185 (a little cheeky on price seeing as that was the Ebay price but we were going to pick it up and therefore they had no Ebay or Paypal fees to pay - but the alternative wasn't bearable). Having got Pump Assembly, the expert fitted it and it was working. However the boiler still wasn't. Still code F5 - now though fan wasn't turning over. Expert said he could do no more for us. We would have to wait to get in touch with Ferroli themselves. Not happy about being freezing and no hot water with no sign of fixing in sight seeing as Ferroli weren't back until 4th Jan. Decided to have a Worcester Bosch fitted cause that could be done next day. So spent £185 on a pump (plus travelling costs) which was only in the boiler for 10 mins and the 3 hours labour of the expert. Hence why I consider it to be 'NEW' but not brand new and therefore the supplier wasn't interested to take it back cause they can't resell it as NEW (cause it was used for 10 mins!)
