is it how much these things cost now?!
My local library still has them with a few copies, just not in the best conditions.

p.s. not misjudging your items by no means. Just really surprised that I must be proven wrong!

p.p.s woops, sorry you say that you have a 1st edition which should cost more -

i'll drop the price down to £45 inc postage

I don't know what they're worth anyway but wouldn't you be better off keeping them until your older or even for your kids?

Big money then

360082639622 but sold already :(
Well, to be honest I think you are better off ebaying it though such prices are sure to bounce up and down. Still, good luck with the sale.
#18
are you allowed to sell these on here?
i thought you werent allowed to sell items for over the RRP, i understand the reason for the high price is due to them being first editions... but does that make it allowed?

they are limited edition & the rrp is the price people are willing to pay

someone who collects them may pay hundreds per book :?

but their price has declined in last year :|

...the rrp is the price people are willing to pay ....

Nope :)

From Wiki :-

The (manufacturer's) suggested retail price (MSRP or SRP), list price or recommended retail price (RRP) (originally, Monroney suggested retail price) of a product is the price the manufacturer recommends that the retailer sell it for.

so anyone want these?

I always thought first editions were the ones that said "First edition" in the inside cover.

What's the point in having the rule about RRP then. You could list anything above RRP and if somebody buys then no rules are being broken? Please.

Paperback or hardback? Bloomsbury or ted smart?
#24
Well from the pics they look like paperbacks, if so then they really are not worth that muc. If there hardbacks however, and in good condition then they would be worth it.

Yes........looking at it they do appear to be paperbacks. In which case they are worth no more than the later editions. It's only the HB's that are worth anything.

Could the OP clarify as if PB then you are asking for about £40 more than they are worth i'm afraid.
