FS/FT: 3 SkypePhone S2 on Three £25.00

Hi everyone

I'm selling a 3 SkypePhone S2 on Three . The mobile is a couple of months old and is in excellent condition along with original box etc. It's a neat little phone, you'd be surprised by the number of features it has!. Major features of this mobile are great social-networking (Facebook, Windows Live Messenger, etc.) integration, 3.2MP camera with flash, Skype functionality, option to be used as a 3G dongle and HSDPA.

£25 is the price I'm looking for which include delivery costs (£20 collection in person) but I'm willing to consider sensible offers of which the first that can be agreed by both parties will be the winning offer. I will not send first to make this clear from the offset. I accept payment first which upon receipt the item will be sent immediately by Royal Mail Special Delivery. I prefer collection in person above all.

Any questions then please ask. Thanks.
Shipping/Payment:
I only accept payment by:

Bank transfer to my HSBC account which is instant if money is paid in at a HSBC branch and secure.
Cash if collection in person.

NO PayPal, cheques or postal orders.
NO Meetups

Item will be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery as soon as payment is received as specified above.

I currently have 1 positive feedback on this site.

I would take it for £20 Delivered, Can I ask why you wont send the item first though? I would even pay via Bank Transfer it's just I need reasurance I willreceieve the phone since it's not done through paypal. I have 37 Positive Feedback on this website and I am a trusted user. The other day I bought a Armani Watch from a new seller with 0 Feedback she posted first and I paid within the hour I received it. I'm quite depserate for a phone and this is perfect....

I feel more comfortable with payment first. It's yours for £20 if you want it. I'll get it sent as soon as the money has cleared.

Okay, I'm going to very clear on this though that I have your word. I'm putting my trust into this that I will receive it. But I will need your Landline Telephone Number/ Name and Address Including Postcode/ Valid Email Address/

I'll call you before and after I've made payment into your HSBC Bank Tomorrow Afternoon.

If your happy with this please send me all your details, Thanks

Also is the phone in Mint Condition? No Scratches marks or dents or chips? Any Faults? Also how well does the Battery take charge?
#15
Phone is in excellent condition, no damage at all and no faults. Battery takes max charge and lasts ages. I will PM you details now. Thanks.

Too Be Honest i'm rather concerned about this. I think I might use my good judgement and pull out of this one. No offense to you Neozound it's just i'm rather concerned about my cover since your a newish seller with only 1 Positve Feedback it's just I cannot risk it at this time. Espcially through Bank Transfer. Cant you please find a way to justfy posting this first to me? As I stated before I am a very trustworthy seller and I have not a chance in not paying you when receiving the phone and paying straight away as well. Alot of deals commense this way on HUKD and I cannot just risk it this time. My concious is telling me to walk away unless you can post the phone first? You would receive payment the same hour I would receive the phone
#17
Will buy for £18 - £10 upfront then the other £8 on receipt of the phone.

Allows you to build a little bit of confidence for your feedback - all your sales are stalling because of a lack of confidence.

Hi,

I dropped in to look at the item, and saw how the deal wasn't progressing.

Here just to add friendly advice, not to thread-spoil, so please read my comments as intended.

I would suggest that perhaps if £20 is a lot to lose if you have a limited budget (don't we all?) & you need a handset quickly so cannot afford to lose the funds & have to wait until you have built them up again. So I can appreciate what Marky264 has said.

However, I can equally see the side of the seller (Neozound) that a £20 handset is a substantial item to lose if you never see payment.

The issue here is probably that mobile handsets are notorious for their attractive nature to prospective buyers, and are seen as an easy medium to gain funds by deception because of this. Coupled with the fact that the seller has limited feedback of two (one of which is negative), then I would imagine that most people would be hesitant to trade here.

Neozound: Marky264 has been here at HotUKDeals for some time & has built a relatively large amount of (positive) feedback through many differing trades. It is common to see sellers with low (or no) feedback put their trust in this feedback scheme & despatch first before receiving payment. In fact, somebody did this for me last week & I am heading to a bank in an hour to make the payment. Trades do go wrong on occasion and, I too, have lost money here (£10) when a seller took my payment (as well as payments from a few others here) only without ever having the intention of sending any items to the buyers.

Do you have any feedback recorded & easily viewed on any other site (auction, or forum based)?

Perhaps you can put any prospective buyer's minds at ease if you could demonstrate previous trading history.

Marky264: I read you had received the contact details of Neozound by "PM". If so, have you tried to contact him/her by telephone to verify this is correct? Have you asked for a contact name that can be verified with the bank where you are making the payment? You can also ask the bank counter staff to check that the contact address details you have for the seller as they have recorded on file. They cannot give you details directly, but you can ask if what you have written down is as they have in their records.

As charliebrown suggested, if the deal is in stalemate, I would advise that £10 is paid today, and the remaining £10 balance is paid once the item is delivered.

That way both of you stand to lose only £10 each if the other does not fulfil their side of the trade; that, from what both of you have said, is unlikely.

If the seller despatches by Royal Mail Special Delivery, the tracking reference can be provided to the buyer. This service guarantees next day delivery. Payment will be made the following working day. If the buyer has many threads & deals ongoing at the time, then they would probably not "do a runner" for the sake of gaining £10. That may be some reassurance of their intentions to complete the payment upon successful delivery of the goods.

I think, on balance, Neozound, that you need to offer some halfway compromise, at least until your feedback improves.

Of course, once this trade is successful, should anybody raises concerns in the future, you can refer to this thread to prove you are a reliable seller.

Again, sorry for the intrusion. Hope my comments were useful.

Good luck to you all.

BFN,

fp.

I have decided that I will put my trustinto the seller as I do need a phone urgently and I have called the landline he provided me and confirmed that he lived at that house hold so it looks good to commence with the sale. I'll head down to the Bank this afternoon and make the payment to your account and then this evening i'll give you a call to confim youhave received the funds, Trusting thatyou will dispatch the phone via Special Delivery and providing me with the Tracking Number also. I'll send you my postage address in the PM to you Neozound

Thanks Fanpages for the advice and help I hope the trade will be successful and no one to get burnt :) cheers mate some rep for you as well

You're very welcome. No need for the "rep", but if you insist it would be rude to refuse! :)

Feedback is there for a reason mate, you should be honest and leave honest feedback. I did but you still chose to ignore it! YOu should have the kahunas to leave honest feedback so others know what the seller is like.

I'm really disappointed by some peoples attitude to feedback on here, too scared to keave negative, even when it's warranted. You're threatening a "neutral"! It makes the feedback a bit of a farce tbh....
#35
And after that you left a positive, ha, what a joke.

I accidentally left positive. I've notified a mod and asked them to change it to neutral. I'm fair with my feedback ratings and wont leave someone a negative feedback depending on the circumstances, I received half the goods and awaiting the charger not happy with it but thats the way it goes. I can still charge the phone via USB but unless i received nothing and got screwed out my momey then i'd feel negative feedback is appropriate.
#37
You should have got the charger by now, please would you be kind enough to change the feedback to positive? I'm really sorry about the charger, I forgot to put it in the box originally - it was a genuine mistake.
#38

Excuse me? Whats this implying towards me? I have nothing to do with your *deal* I'll give you the benefit of the doubt mate. I always keep to my word and would not abandon a deal unfinished.
