Hi

I have 2 x 200MBit homeplugs spare. They should work fine with any other make of HomplugAVs, but NOT with the BT/Comtrend adaptors (they use a non-standard encryption).

Condition:
Adaptors are new/unused, but without original packaging.

What you get:
- 1 homeplug adapter
- 1 UK mains plug
- 1 Utility CD
- 1 user guide.
- 1 short network cable

Asking price is for one adapter and includes Royal Mail Recorded Signed For delivery.

I am after a new dual core system. If you have a nice motherboard/AMD processor/DDR2 memory, I would consider a trade as well.

Payment via Paypal Gift!

What is a homeplug/powerline adapter and why would I want to use them?
It allows you to connect a "networked" computer, printer, hard drive or media centre player to your broadband router/network, without using a wireless connection. This means that the connection will be faster, more reliable and more secure.

They literally uses the electricity cables of the house to send and receive data. You need a minimum of 2 to operate a homplug connection, but you can have as much 7-8 talk to one another without a problem.

In cases where a wireless network will simply not operate properly (too much metal blocking the signal, large house) homeplugs can be the ideal solution, saving you money and fuss (no laying of network cables). Simply plug-in and it works - instantly.

You would need two, unless your broadband router has a built in HomeplugAV.

One to plug into the network socket of your Internet Radio box and one to plug into a network socket on your broadband router/laptop.
