FS/FT: Apple iPhone 3G - 8GB - Black (Factory Unlocked) Smartphone (PRICE DROP) £80.00

cejiogu1cejiogu1

For sale is an iPhone 3G 8GB. General condition of the phone has average wear and tear. Given grade C by CEX employee.

The rear housing is easily replaced or you put a case on.

Currently the WiFi connectivity on this phone is not working. I am told this is due to something gone wrong when it was jail broken. But I am selling this phone with no working WiFi. Easy fix for somebody who knows how.
Other than that and the occasional 'This accessory is not optimized for this iPhone' message the phone is fine. 3G fully working.

Item will not come boxed. Just with USB cable and charger.

I have been offered a reasonable amount by Mazuma and CEX and they rip people off, so let me know.

Shipping/Payment: Cash on Collection (preferred)
Bank Transfer

Location: Watford

If you want to fix the wifi problem try restoring to factory settings using iTunes. It may work and if it does people will be more interested in buying it :D

The phone is fully restored ready to be connected to iTunes. Would be abit of a hassle, when the likes of Mazuma and CEX are ready to take it.

    Thanks anyway mate.

Your selling a phone with faults ,which i would not know how to fix.

It was with postage really, i wasnt price matching by the way, i didnt know that was how much they would give. Just what i thought was a fair price.

The lowest I can do is £65 cash on collection, or £70 with first class recorded and bank transfer. If not will put it up on e-bay.

Im just going to stick with 60 thanks, as dont think the wifi will work again.

Good luck, let me know if you change your mind.

Did you change the baseband when you jailbroke it?

No I haven't changed the baseband, although when I spoke to Apple over the phone a good few months ago, they said it was likely a baseband related issue.

But anyway, if you collect I will do £60. I know if you transfer money to my bank there is fees involved hence why I said £70 (with postage).

Are you sure about that? I am pretty sure they take commission.
If you are 100% sure they don't, I will accept your offer providing I won't send the item in the large box I was going to send it in. I will just secure it will bubble wrap and so on which will reduce postal costs.

I have heavily come down in price here and you're matching Mazuma mobile, so I will accept £60 if there is no bank transfer fee and you're okay with my postal terms.

No, why would a bank take commission from bank transfers? Its not paypal.

To what extent have you tried to fix the wifi? Have you already tried everything online?

    e.g Settings-General-Reset-Reset Network Settings
    cejiogu1
No I haven't tried that. Like I said in my previous post, plus I am not that good with these things, I don't want to start playing with it potentially make an issue worse.

Listen do you want the item or not? I have reluctantly come down to price that was under my valuation.
