I have a fully boxed as new 2 week old Asus EEEPC for sale. It was bought from Misco.co.uk on the 6th May 2008 and used over the last week on a trip. Now I am back home I cant really see me using it all that much so would prefer it to go to a new home. The machine is in excellent condition except for a stuck pixel on the screen which may or may not be rectifiable but is not covered under Asus warranty unfortunately.

You will get the following..

20GB White Linux Asus EeePC with 1GB ram as standard
Fully boxed as new, in mint condition, with all accessories, discs, manuals and unused warranty card

In addition to this I am including the following...

2GB Crucial Ram (the max this machine will take)
4GB Crucial SDHC card (Sealed)
An Xbox HD-DVD Drive 2 weeks old and boxed as new (used as a dvd drive for installing XP etc)
An additional 2 years warranty (on top of the manufacturers 2 years you get as standard) making a full 4 year warranty on the EeePC

As a trade I am willing to accept a PS3 or Xbox 360 Elite with games and accessories up to the value of £400 or a ash adjustment either way.

For cash I am asking for £400 delivered for the lot. Paypal prefered but will accept BT. Delivery will be via Special delivery which is included in the price. Collection is available from Chigwell Essex.

reduced price to £380 delivered

As you can see, the Asus EEEPC currently has a install of XP on it however I will be removing this and putting Xandros back on it before I send it out. The stuck pixel is just above the mouse pointer as indicated on the 4th picture. The ADATA memory stick shown in the 5th picture is the one that comes with the EeePC 900. I have replaced it with the 2GB Crucial module and will include both with the sale.

Any questions, please ask.

I was going to say overpriced, but considering the extras it is actually quite a okish deal.
#3
Will you sell without the extras?

Yep, will have to sell it with the extra warranty though as I am sure you can understand.

£380 delivered including the 2GB memory, 4GB SDHC card and the 360 dvd drive is a far better deal though :)

Reduced to £380 all in. Will leave it here until this evening and if it does not sell or a trade is agreed then I'll place it on Ebay.
banned#6
it looks like it has dead pixels all over it....
#7
How much just for the 2Gb memory on its own?
Also can you confirm it works on the EEE PC 900 as there are lots of incompatible RAM sticks for the machine?

It has one, which is where I mentioned above. The other marks are dust :)

I'll answer this if the machine sells without it.

Of course it works. I would not be selling it installed in the machine if it did not work.

bump for the evening crowd.

Just to confirm, I am also interested in trades if anyone has anything they might want to swap?

taking elsewhere.

It's a good price matey, shame it never went on here. It would have sold to me if I didn't just buy a M1330 from Dell
