I was in the process of selling this phone to a member however i went into o2 today to find out why it said call failed and wouldn't let me send texts and they said it has a bar on it.

Apparently the bar can be removed but im not sure how and as i wasn't the original owner when it was on contract im not sure how to sort this.

Everything else works fine. ie:

Camera, Calender, Task list, Internet, MSN, Voice recorder etc

And can be used as a data computer if someone wants to merely have a pocket diary but as a phone it's unusable at the moment. Therefore i am selling as faulty.

Includes a 1GB Micro SD

I am open to offers but have seen faulty BB Curve's go a certain auction site for £70+

See first post for pictures

If it's barred it can't be used in the UK, and removing said bar is illegal...

Will work fine outside the UK though...

they are selling on fleabay between £65 to £120 so a think you'll find £50 steep for a phone that cannot be used...

£65-£120? Pretty huge gap. Ive just watched a faulty one sell for £76 within the last 2 hours so i know what they are selling for. If your not interest stop thread spoiling. :x

A faulty one is fixable - esp if it's a software fault or something simple.

Fixing a blocked phone (which fwiw is usually only blocked if reported lost (usually as part of insurance fraud if it's found and resold...) or stolen ()) to get it working in the UK is different...

I'm not trying to "thread spoil" but your buyer needs to understand what they are buying even if you don't (or if you do and are just playing dumb - not accusing you but i've seen it on eBay many times...).

Member banned - Multiple accounts not permitted,

As for the phone, cut out the offers - You know it's suspect, why encourage the sale even if lowball.
