FS/FT Flashed Xbox 360 Red Lights

Got a premium console, flashed so it plays backup games. Currently has the red lights, i'm sure someone here can fix it though.

Comes with PSU only, no harddrive, component cable or controller. All of these can be bought seperately anyway, where the PSU is harder to obtain.

Pics upon request, also have ebay feedback, username on there is diyspike.

Currently looking for offers, or trades, I already own another 360, DS, PSP and Wii, PS2 and Dreamcast. Wanting a PS3, obviously i'll put money with the console.

Hi There

NO PSU NEEDED.

Console only...

Will offer £30 to get you started (PLUS P&P)

You can probs get £30 for PSU on FLEA BAY.

I'd much rather just sell it as one tbh.

has it been opened in the past? ie the microsoft sticker still intact. if so and the flash isnt detectable just send it back to microsoft and they fix it for free.

You need to break the seal to get inside to flash the DVD drive. And of course it's detectable - Microsoft can just read the firmware like anyone else can and see it's a hacked version instead of the original. Or they could even have a few copied games to hand to easily test incoming consoles with. Either way, it can't be sent back to Microsoft.

I'm interested, but can you tell me what the secondary error code is and if any repairs have been attempted?

Huh? :?

Sorry, forgot to mention - to find the secondary error code, when the 3 red lights are flashing hold down the 'Sync' button on the console (the small round button to the right of the memory card slots) and then press the 'Eject' button. A number of lights will flash on the ring. This number is the first digit of the secondary error code (1,2,3 or 4 lights flashing = the number 1,2,3 or 0 respectively). Keep holding the 'Sync' button then, to get the next digit, press the 'Eject' button again. There are 4 digits in all, so you should end up with something like '0102'.

This helps to narrow down the problem and will help me decide whether it's fixable or not ;-)

can i advise you at least try to send it back to m$,plenty have had flashed 360 s fixed in the past with the 3rl(including me, ta m$),true they are starting to tighten up a bit but im sure it is still worth a go as i am still hearing of peeps getting flashed ones repaired, just try to make the seal look as untouched as poss,at the end of the day it costs nowt(they send a courier and send it back) and if they dont fix it well then sell it for spares
