For sale of trade is my beloved iPhone.
2G version with 8GB capacity.
I am looking for a Blackberry that will help me with business communications.

The iPhone is in new condition as Apple recently replaced it due to a network error.

It is boxed and complete with all accessories and includes a spare invisible shield, whilst one if already on the Phone.

I have also spent over £50 on apps that i can leave on the Phone is requested and can unlock if also requested although i have been using on o2.

I am ideally looking for a Blackberry simply because the iPhone does not give wide screen email or copy/paste functions. I am aware of the 3.0 update that will have these functions also.

Please list what you have and if you are interested. I will only sell if a Blackberry becomes available for sale at a negotiable price also.

CEX have offered me £285 trade value as it is GRADE A and their Blackberry Curve 8900's are £285 also, however, my CEX does not have any in stock at present.
Shipping/Payment:
Recorded delivery next day

Payment via Bank transfer only after being hacked on paypal.

What condition would you say it was in and how old is it. I have a month old bold, but was debating selling and buying an iphone 3g. Not sure though as I do like the phone now I have been getting used to it.

I have stated its in mint condition due to being replaced by apple recently. Therefore it is less than a month old. Warranty until September.

Blackberry 8300 is quite dated. I'd be looking for a minimum of £140 cash mate.

Im based in London and Portsmouth. Go back and forth.
Im looking for my ideal Blackberry or enough cash to buy one so i'd need £220.
Seeing as it's a new phone and still in warranty it's a fair price.

Nope. They wont decrease in price simply because the software can be updated. With 3.0 being released in a few months they will probably be more sought after too.
I just need a Blackberry for work

Unlock costs about £10 (see fleebay). I will ask Orange to release the BB Pin from my account and it SHOULD be fine to use on O2.

You do realise that you will have to pay about £10 p/m for the BB service ?

However if you just stick in an orange payg sim you can use the service for £5p/m (50 MB I think).

Pics to follow if you are still interested ?

Pics uploading now so give it 10 mins, also are you willing to post first ?

It's in very good condition, there may be a few light marks here and there if you look for them, nothing that jumps out and smacks you in the face.

You could use the old sugar cube trick to remove the logo on the front but I wouldn't try it on the back where the camera is !

No box etc because that's how I bought it.

I have a mac and syncing is something I have never tried, however having had a quick read they suggest you run parallels and sync that way.

The blackberry desktop software is free to download from the net for windows.

Once you get into instant push email you enter another world.

Just been looking into the phone and seems pretty straight forward, in your opinion what's it like to use? Im only looking to swap for business use really.

Excellent phone, especially with UMA (don't know if 02 support it) which allows you to make & receive calls via your wifi connection which is great since I have lousy reception where i live (hence why I got rid of my Bold).

I got it because I find Nokia's are not stable when running lmultiple apps, whereas the blackberry hardly ever crashes.

I used to think what's the big deal with push email until i got it, it's more like instant messaging.

Can be a bit annoying pulling it out of the holster all the time, but you can buy a skin to protect it. However the case also puts it into standby automatically (magnetic something) which prolongs the standby time.

In fact i'm kind of questioning why i'd want to part with it !

Thanks for the update. Im a keen iPhone user and haven't had any problems at all and personally think it's an immense piece of kit, but like i said, business beckons and i can't be bothered to wait for 3.0. Ill probably buy another iPhone in a few months anyway.
I am happy to go ahead with the deal, and to post first also, but will be left without a phone whilst trying to unlock the BB. Would you be able to unlock it by chance?
#37
Unlocking options are

1. £10 from my not so local phone shop.
2. £8.99 for a code off ebay. but they send you 5 codes and you only get 10 attempts to unlock, so not a good idea.
3. £5 off fleebay and they do a remote unlock (but I don't have windows, i'm a machead and my two acer's are linux!)
