FS/FT: iPhone 4 Vodafone IMMACULATE, trade for O2 or FS £390 (Belfast Only) £395.00

Hi guys, I'm hoping to trade my iPhone 4 which is currently locked to Vodafone as I want to move to one of the o2 30 day sim-only contracts. I've contacted Vodafone to try and get it unlocked but to no avail. I would settle for a jailbreak unlock but that doesn't seem to be the case with this firmware (4.2.1).

The phone was replaced by Apple but about 2 weeks ago and has had a PhoneDevil screen protector on the front, a screen protector on the back, and has been in a case from day 1. Just to be clear...this phone is immaculate and free from flaws.

I know it's a bit of a long shot but I'm hoping to do a straight swap for a similar condition o2 iPhone 4 for my Vodafone handset. I can appreciate I have no feedback on these forums but I'm a longstanding member of HUKD. I would only really be happy to do a swap in person in the general Belfast area.

I just just point out that I am not interested in selling the phone and would be looking to stick with iPhone 4, so no offers for trades with any other phones (such an on android etc.). The phone is covered up until September 2011 under warranty. Any other queries please feel free to ask!
Shipping/Payment:
Would consider selling for around £395 providing deal can be done in person, really don't want to post, cheers.

Is it not good to get this unlocked so you use it for any network ?

If you get this unlock done you are already using this so you know its good to go & use later on any other network sim after 30 day sim-only contracts

You can jail break 4.2.1 using greenpois0n

I appreciate what you're saying, but the current jailbreak doesn't actually unlock the phone from the carrier (something to do with the baseband), so SOOL there.

I've already contacted Vodafone about this, put in an unlock request for it and no joy. I really can't see any other option but to trade for an o2 model.

If you want i can help you in that and sort you problem out and you will be glad with your phone with orignal unlock no matter what Baseband and version you upgrade later .

Yes I have contacted them and they pretty much just told me no, which i find ridiculous seeing as people on o2 and other networks don't seem to have such an issue. Even checking amongst the Vodafone online forums other people are having similar issues. I managed to get them to put an unlock request in but it was rejected. It's all of this hassle that has me giving up and just settling for a swap.

I'd rather a straight swap, that way it wouldn't require me forking over anymore money. But I'll keep it in mind, cheers.

Im sorry, but i think you are offering a service without actually specifying any details, offering services on HotUKDeals is against the rules, I have reported your comments for review, appologies if I have mistakenly taken your comments in a way they were not meant for.

(some internet sites are offering vodafone unlocks for £80 ish..)

cooleyes,

Why are you posting in this thread, I don't see you making any offers.

Are you intending to charge for a service, if so you should be making it clear. However I'd advise you to review the link below.

Baseband is 03.10.01 so I'm definately out of luck for an Ultrasn0w unlock! I really just want to go for the o2 contract as most of my friends and family are on it, mean's they can text me for free =]
