These items are gathering dust and I need to make some space. I might consider splitting the base unit so feel free to make an offer for any of the components. Prices exclude shipping but I'm happy to use shipping of your choice at cost or collection from York is possible. Thanks :)

PC Base Unit - £100
Abit SG95 Motherboard (Skt 775, PCI-E, mATX, 7.1 sound),Maxtor 160GB HDD (Sata, 2MB), 1GB RAM (512MB*2 DDR2-667), Celeron D 326 CPU (2.53GHz, Skt 775, 256kB Cache, EMT64), LiteOn DVD-RW 20x, Antec NSK4000 Case (black, mini-tower) . System is little used but case has a scratch on the side. Ubuntu 7.10 OS installed but I'm happy to format or install something else. I will sell with 2GB ram (2x1GB) for an extra £10, or with either of the graphics cards for an extra £20.

Graphics Cards -
ATI Radeon X800GT All-In-Wonder Graphics (PCI-Express, 128MB, includes a DVB-T (digital TV) and analogue TV tuner and a RF remote control) £25
ATI Radeon X1600 (PCI-Express 256Mb) £25
Shipping/Payment:
Bank transfer preferred. Shipping to be added at cost. HUKD guidelines to be followed.

Please feel free to ask any questions. Thanks :)

Edit - just to make it clear, the 2nd and 3rd picture show the base unit with the All-In-Wonder card fitted (hence the SCART output).

How much can u do the 160gb hard drive & all in wonder card delivered for?
#3
Asking £25+del for the AIW, I'm going to leave this for a couple of days to see if anyone registers interest in the system as a whole but if not I'll consider splitting it. Thanks for asking :)
#4
u got a good price there, i think u shud get rid of it.Id not then id gladly take the HD & AIW off u. PM me if u dont sell.
#5
No problem, thanks, but I'll post in here too (remember all trades must be conducted on the forum itself).
#7
Thanks, I'll think about it - I'd accept £25 delivered, I might accept your offer in a couple of days if no other interest is registered.
#8
1st bump :)
#9
I'm gonna have to withdraw my offer as ive just bought something else.
#10
how much for the ram?
#11
No problems ghost, thanks for letting me know :)

leeredgie
how much for the ram?

The 2GB pair (I thinks its Corsair Value Ram, PC-5400 (667MHz), 2*1GB) I'd sell for £25 inc recorded delivery. The 1GB pair (think its one 512MB stick of Crucial and one Kingston but works fine as a pair) lets say £14 delivered.
#12
i'm interested in taking the package with the ram and one of the graphics cards for asking price of £120. only problem is i live in glasgow. how much do you reckon to deliver???
thanks
gaz

Hi gaz, shipping looks quite expensive I'm afraid, think it would be around £20 from Parcelforce (not sure of the exact weight yet but its quite heavy). Do you know of any cheaper, reliable couriers?
#14
i may be interested in the system with the graphics card with tv tuner
there isnt a monitor is there?

how much to either deliver to manchester do u drive
#15
Do you know of any cheaper, reliable couriers?

Check for 1 on ebay, around £7 - 8 and have loads of positive feedback, most offer 3 delivery attempts and 48 hour delivery max :D
#16
mudassar - sorry, no transport. I'd have to courier it which works out around £15 (insured) so it would be about £140 all in with the Radeon AIW. No monitor I'm afraid (I've a decent 19" tft I'd sell with it for £75 but only if you were collecting).

Random_ginger - thanks for info but I'm a bit wary of using ebay couriers to be honest, much rather use a regular site, and not at all sure about using payperdrop at the moment (there have been some concern threads recently).

Of course anyone is welcome to collect or arrange their own courier etc, thanks for the interest and advice.

Ta ghost, its parcel2go I'm getting the £15 price from (I'm guessing the weight and dimensions at the moment but its not the lightest case and the insurance is a fiver+vat)
#19
I think you're overestimating the weight. It shouldnt cost £20+ with insurance to send,
#20
£15, but its the insurance that is the killer - its much cheaper uninsured. If I can sell it for £100 the insurance is halved so its just over £12 but I couldn't sell it with the graphics card for that. The case is pretty heavy (Antec tend to use thick steel) - I'm estimating 12kg.

Final bump, and also a brief question:

Would this be more desirable (and hence more likely to sell) if it had a dual-core CPU (I could add a dual core celeron for £35 or a Pentium E2160 for £44) - I'm wondering if its worth buying one.

Which configuration do you think is better value/more likely to sell:
A) Celeron 2.5GHz, 1GB RAM, on-board graphics £100
B) Pentium E2160, 2GB RAM, Radeon X1600 graphics £175

Thanks :)

Going to list elsewhere, please consider thread closed (and if you have the power, close it ;-))

Ta :)
