Selling a few of my ps3 games I never play anymore:

All games are in perfect condition, I make an effort to store them correctly and make sure they never get scratched/damaged.

Folklore - ~£20
The Simpsons Game - ~£20
Spider-Man 3 - ~£15
Heavenly Sword - ~£20
Resistance: Fall Of Man (Promo Copy) - ~£7

All prices include delivery, payment by PayPal or bank transfer.

The only game I am interested in trading for is Army of Two.

As sassie said, don't post your email address on the forum OP :) Once you accept an offer and agreed a deal, you can exchange personal details with your buyer via PM.
I've deleted your post.

when you say promo copy, what is the difference to the normal copy. does it come boxed. if so will take at asking
#14
It is just the CD, no official box/manual.

I have it stored in a clear cd case though.
#15
hmmm im a bit reluctant as its not boxed. is the cd clean and not scratched? id take it for £6?
#16
I've only used it once (so basically only taken it out of the case once) so it's in perfect condition. It's just the game without the manual/official box :)

think youll find i have first dibs on this mate!

get back to me rwm24 so we can get the ball rolling!
#24
mozza9....................... can't see that its your first dibs as you offered £6 and there was no reply to that. If OP accepts your offer of £6 then yes, it should be yours. However, Csamuel offered asking price, and as OP stated the price they wanted, then technically it should be Csamuels..................

Just trying to point out how it works - asking questions about an item doesn't give you priority on an item - an offer that is accepted or asking price offer is.

Ball is in OP's court now - to accept first offer at £6, or to accept the asking price offer.

I'll take your offer as you were the first person to offer the asking price.

Spider-Man 3, Heavenly Sword, Folklore still available

Im sorry but how does that work out? I said I would take at asking price first, providing it came boxed. The OP then explained what a promo was and from that explanation I understood it was a CD that had been kept loose and was scratched. I then returned to my original offer when it was explained properly.

So youre telling me that on this forum, if you show interest in someones item and ask all the relevant questions, someone that reads all the information about the item that you have taken the time to find out can sneak in with an offer before you get the chance to check the thread again?

Not very fair is it?
#27
It's pretty clear to me - The OP can sell it you for £6 or to csamual for the asking of £7. csamual was the first to offer the full asking without any conditions.
#28
Yes but my point is he offered (without any conditions) AFTER i had spent my time asking several questions about the game which wasnt made clear in the first place. He probably read this info and made his bid based on that, BEFORE i got the chance to read the thread and re-offer original price.

Would he have made the same bid before he found out everything I had asked?

Personally I think its extremely unfair. Say for example someone comes to look at a car youre selling and makes the same bid as a random person on the phone. Who are you going to sell the car to?
#29
Your initial question...

mozza9
when you say promo copy, what is the difference to the normal copy. does it come boxed. if so will take at asking

rmw24's response...

rwm24
It is just the CD, no official box/manual.
I have it stored in a clear cd case though.

Your second question, where you're now offering £6...

mozza9
hmmm im a bit reluctant as its not boxed. is the cd clean and not scratched? id take it for £6?

There's then a post from csamual offering the asking and then your further response also offering the asking 2 minutes later, so technically csamaul did offer the asking first, now I take your point about asking the questions but... it's a moot point anyway as it was originally listed as a 'promo' copy and therefore you wouldn't expect it to come boxed with instructions, promo's occasionally do but this should be viewed as a rarity rather than the norm.

I'm guessing you didn't know that hence the questions but in the sellers defence all he/she's done is sell to the first person to offer the asking price...

To start with the top one, it's first come first served. You can't umm and ahh over it, and then say because you were debating whether to buy it or not that the seller should sell to you. Your example of the car - if a garage selling a car has a person come round, spending time checking it out and HPI checking it, but then says 'I'll think about it' and not make an offer there and then, the garage has no obligation to hold it for that person. Then if another customer comes along, offers the asking price without checking it, then how is that not fair?

I dont even know why Im bothering replying, cant believe im arguing on a forum I have better things to do. But rather than let people think theyre correct i will reply.

There was 50 minutes between my first offer/question and concrete offer.
There was no 'Ill think about it' and no not making an offer. 2 were made, one concrete when I knew what I was buying.

This is the INTERNET. Some people i.e myself, have better things to do then sit refreshing a page waiting for answers.
Maybe in future if i want to buy something on here I should carry out the repetetive task of F5 the page every second like you (sadly) do.

And whoever said a Promo is clearly a CD with no box and manual. Can you explain how I have 3 promo 360 games all in boxes with PROMO written across them...

Anyhow, this is all pointless so I will get back to my life which isnt spent arguing on a forum.
#32
heavenly swords £12?? Someone sold it for £14 on here before
#33
Actually - this is what I said.

Flodd
it was originally listed as a 'promo' copy and therefore you wouldn't expect it to come boxed with instructions, promo's occasionally do but this should be viewed as a rarity rather than the norm...

Just out of interest how many of your three promo copies have instructions?

Or maybe you'll just pay the asking and not quibble over a quid...

Anyway - Back to our busy lives :whistling:
