I am relisting a purpose-built hdmi media centre/desktop pc which I tried to sell previously on this site (http://www.hotukdeals.com/forums/showthread.php?t=388345)

The MC is in excellent condition (9/10 - only a few minor cosmetic scratches on the casing ) and it comes from a pet and smoke free home!

Here are the specs (as bought from Ebuyer & Scan in Oct 2008):

Sonata Media Case ((LxWxH) 345x94x385mm))
ABIT A-S78H Motherboard (includes HDMI port and is DirectX 10 compliant)
2Gb Corsair memory (PC-2 6400 (800))
AMD Dual Core 2.5GHZ Chip
640Gb Samsung HDD
Pioneer DVD-RW Drive (***not working???***)

I built the MC at end of Nov 2008 but it has sat unused and unwanted in the garage. I just never got round to using it (it was a good idea at the time) and I still use my Xbox1 to this day. The MC is in excellent working order and is very, very quiet indeed. I am not including an OS with the system so you will have to that yourself.

The whole thing cost me £290 to build but I am willing to sell for £150. That's a good dea. Alternatively I will consider a trade for a Xbox360 (elite model) or PS3 (60gb model).

I live in Northern Ireland should someone consider pick-up or meet halfway - but we will see how the thread pans out.

Shipping/Payment:
Due to its size it will cost me £15 to send by DHL. If someone can think of cheaper postage arrangements then let me know.

Wow - instant offer - I hadn't even finished posting the image links!
Thanks. I'll wait on other offers first as I do not want to pay postage on top of letting it go at £150.

Just like to say that these cases are great.

I have built a few HTPCs and found this case to be the best value for money HTPC case :)

Thanks sparkygeezer for adding a postive review - it runs very silent indeed. Def a good buy if you are looking to have play with hdmi etc as it's purpose built and ready to go

It doesn't come with a remote nor does it have wireless, but it's not hard to add these.
I can add a few more pictures, give me 10mins as I have the kids at the min.

In my original post I state that the dvd-drive doesn't work. For some reason it stopped working and I never chased it up. It's still in the htpc. Not sure if I still have the receipt.
Your offer is the same as bykergrove so I will give him the 1st refusal if no better offers/trades are offered. I will keep your offer in reserve

I can shave about £10 from normal shops and another £10 from various sources off tha using the specs he gave but yes you are right and beat me to it (saving me the hassle of getting the info)

So I make that about £150 ish

Thanks to everyone for their two-cents worth - I didn't realise these things have dropped so much in price - I'll keep that one from the wife ;-)
Fair enough on the price being too high, if someone wants to make me an offer I will consider it.
#20
I would be willing to offer you £120 delivered for the media pc?
#21
How about £125 del?

BobDylan:
You have got yourself a deal!
I will look at using parcel2go as a courier service. I'm at work at the moment and need time to get it packaged up and to arrange a courier etc so it might take a few days for delivery - are you ok with this? Either way, I will keep you posted on developments.
Want to take to pm?

Not quite the same items.....

no spare hdmi cable but a good ask. The previous sale included a hdmi cable (well spotted) but it is being used for something else. If I had one spare I would have thrown it in

Do you want a linux distro installed to the hd to get you started?
Also, do you want the non-working dvd-rw?
