Is the scratch on the screen though, or is it on the border around the screen?
#11
For 1080i to work it needs to be deinterlaced first just so everyone knows

If you go to a hardware store or double glazing company and buy a little pot of 'Rouge' it'll get rid of that scratch, it was designed for glaziers for repairing scratched windows but is now used all the time for getting rid of scratches, £3 and 5 mins later it'll be sorted....Or check out ebay item no 380078873161

However might be wrong...

I used to use it on LCD screens when I repaired them (not as much money in it anymore due to lower prices) and it worked a treat, deep scratches tend to only fade but still worth doing

i was thinking about adding delivery too it but i think it would be too expensive then.

Maybe interested in this, could you supply a bigger picture of the full tv and show where the scratch is located - where are you in gloucestershire?>
#20

#21

i live in lechlade, glos
#22
Can offer £75 and offer cash on collection live in Gloucester.

Just so you know, the 1366 X 768 resolution refers to a PC input which runs completely seperate to SD/HD images.

An xbox 360/ps3/dvd player etc in HD will run at 1920X1080 interlaced. so this telly does do 1080i for anyone whos doubting it.

parcel2go.co.uk maybe? they use DHL, Citylink etc
#30
make it £100, if you don't mind me using a courier...but will need a video proving the set works. Also do you have the original receipt?
#31
You dont go near Yorkshire?
#32
so you pay for the courier? i'd be happy with that, what should i use to upload a video? i find youtube too slow.
#33
you can always upload an avi file to rapidshare or something. I am happy to pay for a courier, but will need dimensions and weight, i put random figures in and got quoted £95. Not going to pay anything near that

p.s. do you have original receipt aswell?

depends, if the program is very dark/black then it is quite noticeable, if its bright and colorful, it's not that bad.
