I have an xbox 360 with a 250gb Hard disk.

Idelaly lookig to swap for PS3 Slim Model, but will consider Phat

This box has been professionally JTAGGED
and is fully compatible with all software.

It is a XENON machine and while being jtagged had all the preventative action done to prevent any RROD (xclamps etc etc)

I am interested.

Please add pics.
Has it been banned?

Also, £200 is way too much for a Xenon. Sub £140 is more realistic.
#2
i agree with poster above. 200 is way off. I am interested is the price is lower

to the poeple on about value,if its that easy go do it all yourself,go and get a console that this can be done on for a start.
#4
ill add pics when i get home tonight.

£200 is a very good price in current market youll find, as its just about impossible to find a machine now which is JTAGGABLE, and not at a cheap price.

Not to mention the cost of getting it jtagged adding the bigger drive etc and postage

I havnt been online so shouldnt be banned, but youd need to be insane to log on with it!, it would be banned within hours if not seconds.

but feel free to make an offer.

cool, can get a 20gb xbox 360 from game for £70 (2nd hand) + £35 for 250gb hdd (new)

possibly worth £95-£100... jtagged or not, HUKD's is a none profiteering site ;)

lol! great argument!

dont forget to add in the £85 for the jtag conversion and £15 for a plug n play kit, & the RROD clamping and full service cost....

why not spend another £1 a buy a lottery ticket cos thats got a better chance of coming up trumps than an xbox from game being jtaggable
#9
I suggest you compare like with like, try and find a better price for a JTAG machine

1x 25 pin d-sub connector
1x 25 pin d-sub cable
3x 330 ohm resistors
1x 1n4148 switching diode

must be huge service costs, blatant profiteering

got a 40gb PS3 in full working order, it is the PHAT model but the top has some scratches on it, Bluray remote and an unofficial pad, only have 2 games, Fifa 09 and PES 08 as this was really only used for Bluray, getting rid of it due to purchasing a home theatre with bluray in it. Would love to swap for an xbox instead.

PS3 is boxed too
#20
cheers for the offer ideally looking for a slim, so ill pass at the moment sorry
#21
price reduced to shift...to £180
#22
No worries, offer remains should you change your mind mate

Lets you use homebrew.

Surprised this is still up though as its above RRP for a machine, nothing stopping you buying a modded console but mods frown upon over RRP.
#25
jtagging effectively makes it an MS development box so it can run unsigned code, "homebrew", media players etc
#26
only its not above RRP? as a 250gb xbox is £199 ?

They are rare and "collectable" due to the fact that Microsoft filled the security gap which allowed you to do it, around July 2009, therefore in order to make a jtag console you need to have a machine produced before a certain date, with a certain level of dashboard and a certain kernal version.

Already pointed out that this is over RRP, but nothing appears to have been done about it

A Xbox slim is, not a older version.

I doubt you will get a reasonable sale here, I dont blame you for wanting a good price but its such a massive mark up and you seem to be going by less by what something actually costs and more the highest prices for a randomer modding a system.
#30
xbox slim is same machine in a differnet case, adds no extra functionality. ( and is considerably less functional than a jtag machine)
secondly as far as i am aware we are comparing an xbox with 250gb drives? i cannot see any other prices for xbox with 250gb drive, retail price for an arcade is £120? 250gb drive is £70 i think?

so still below RRP
#31
#32
yours is a 20gb console, is the 250gb hdd official?

the slims extra functionality is the built in wifi

Locking this, this item is over rrp, plus the general chit chat within your thread are all classed as thread bumps. Do not repost this item for 7 days. Thanks

Update:

Thread remains locked for the reasons above. The fact you have tried to justify the price by making a comparison to retail prices which include a 20gb hard drive (not included within your sale) + a 250gb hard drive for which you have failed to confirm if official or not, leaves us content with our original decision.
