asking price lowered to £4 with OPs offer - can't offer more than that unfortunately
Not that I'm saying you're wrong, but where are you getting that from? Not the fact that you can't offer more than asking price, but the fact that as soon as a lower price is offered by the seller that automatically reduces the 'asking price' for everyone else? It is common that a seller will offer an item to a buyer for a certain price, and someone else comes in to buy it at that price, but there is always an element of the seller choosing who to deal with there. I always read it as that lower offer simply being to one individual person in the course of negotiations, and not necessarily binding everyone else to that lower price, though of course in practice the item will usually go for that lower price. Bit of a technical point.

I'm only curious because I was considering an offer of £4.50 after you'd initially said £4, and would be interested as to where that would stand with the rules.

i'll give you a fiver.... if accepted i wont be online again until 0800 tomorrow but can pay at 0801.

just drop me a pm with details

The OP has offered the item for £4, and cannot accept offers above that so please don't enter into a bidding war as it would result in the thread being closed & infractions issued. We're not ebay & it's not an auction thanks.

specifically here:

(6) You MUST specify a legitimate asking price for every item in your listing, this includes items for trade only and is for comparison 'like for like' reasons. Sellers listed price CANNOT be altered once offers have been made. Items already listed must NOT be listed in ANY other active thread. This is NOT an auction site, bidding on items is strictly NOT allowed.
