Selling the Google Nexus One I got it two days ago but have decided to sell as I thought this would be the phone for me but I think I would now prefer an HD2 or 3GS.

The specs are below it's sim free. New in mint condition I used it for a couple of hours to test it out and have since reset to factory setting and boxed it all up. (I have no pictures of the phone as I had to take the pictures with the nexus one (only camera I have available to use at the moment.

There are no finger prints on the screen as I wiped it down as instructed.

Nexus One Specs : http://www.google.com/phone/static/en_US-nexusone_tech_specs.html

Postage is free and will set me back £25 to cover all the insurance etc

As I stated postage itself is not £25 but as the item I'm selling is of high value I want it fully insured just in case their is a screw up on Royal Mail or DHL's part which will cost me £25 infact it may cost me more.

Shouldnt cost more than £6.70 ( possibly £5.40 ) RMSD and that covers you up to £500.

and what i meant was im sure it wont cost £25 for it to be FULLY covered. Not saying your incorrect, just im sure it isnt that much to be covered for such a small and light item as well. As Royal Mail Special Delivery covers £500 i believe and cant see your item costing more then £7.50 tops to send.

It is with DHL but like you and the other member posted have said it's a different story with Royal Mail (it's just that I haven't used them in ages) so just want to make sure that's the case:thumbsup:

Do you have the receipt?

This phone at today's rate costs £328.49 including del. to the UK. On top of this you would have to pay VAT of around £57/58 totalling around £390.

Your asking price is 400 and since you've opened it up and used it it's no longer new.

On this basis, i'll offer £330 + RMSD whatever that comes to.

Edit : further to the below post - Price on the Google website

https://www.google.com/phone/choose?locale=en_US&s7e=

$529 using www.xe.com equates to £328.49.

Taking into account 17.5% VAT on this figure comes to £57.48.

328.49 + 57.48 = £385.97 brand new delivered to the UK at this moment in time. This figure is unlikely to fluctuate a lot given that the exchange rate is pretty consistent at the minute and the VAT @ 17.5% will not change in the foreseeable future.

Why don't you order from google then ? because you will get hit with the same fee's as me.

and the order total will be £400 or more.

My listing price is just that, a listing price If I get an offer I consider appropriate I will accept it.

But £330 yes that's the actual price of the phone not factoring anything else ''everyone'' who has imported has had to cover

If you buy something from the UK all taxes have already been accounted for. If you import then Customs and Excise charge at point of entry. I don't see the problem with my pricing.
I have all receipts
