Heres what the game im trying to play says, lol.

Graphics: 256MB Nvidia 7900 / 256MB ATI X1900

means nothing to me, can anyone shed some light on it?

Anyway, can anyone point me in the direction of a good graphics card?

That's pretty low requirements, most modern cards cards, even the cheap ones would be able to handle that.

I've got an older WinFast PX7950GT TDH with 512MB RAM you can have for £23 posted if you like, should be fine for those specs. Used to play Call of Duty 4 just fine for me.

I picked up an 8800GT here for £50 about six months ago, so you should easily be able to get something equal to or better than that with your budget.

Two DVi ports and an S-Video. I can include a DVI-VGA adapter though. I can put the latest drivers on a disc for you... I can provide pics, but the card is in my computer at the moment (working perfectly) :)

I think you should find out whether you need AGP or PCI express first mate.

Going by your first post I think it may be AGP.
