Does this defo burn dual layer (e.g. verbatim)?
Does this print direct onto disc such as disc art?

I dont know about dual layer as i'm not that techinical minded and the only specs i could find on it was the above. It does print any art onto the disc but you need lightscribe discs which i have a few to send off with it. If you google lightscribe i'm sure you will find a bit more info on this. Its a great drive but i have to remove it to make way for a Blu-Ray drive.

I cannot seem to work out if this is dual layer or not so I will leave it.

It says DVD+DL, DL meaning dual layer (I would assume), so it would appear that it does indeed support it. But anyway, do you have any model numbers for this?

The front of the drive says multi recorder R DL so i suppose yes it is dual format. I think its a HP 940D, will confirm when unit removed from tower which i hope to do a bit later today.

Mods to close please, decide to keep this drive in machine and remove the basic DVD drive.

Thanks
