Very reliable server that was bought new within the last 12 months. Used for 2 short projects totalling only a few weeks, so everything as new and it hasn't been used at all in last two months. All the upgrade components were also bought new and added (so all still in warranty with receipts). Upgrades cost an extra £200 on top of the base unit price so this cost over £450 to build, not counting the OS. I'll dig out receipts of individual components if needed but will be keeping them as they contain personal details. In the unlikely event of any component breaking within warranty, I'll be happy to act on your behalf.

HP Mini Tower - ML115 Server / Quad-Core AMD Opteron 2.10Ghz / Win XP Pro with COA / 2GB DDR2 800Mhz RAM (1 x 2GB - 3 slots free, max 8GB) / DVD-ROM Drive / DVD-RW Drive / 1x 160GB SATA 7200 RPM / 1TB SATA Hitachi 7200rpm 16MB Cache / 1GB Nvidia GeForce 9400 GT / keyboard & mouse
Shipping/Payment:
BT - £250 collected or add courier on top.

As stated on 1st post, this server will also run 64-bit versions of Vista and Windows 7 with up to 8GB RAM.

Reserved for photos. In meantime, here is spec to base unit before all the upgrades.

edit: and having looked at that link, I should also add that this server, as well as being used with the current OS, has had the following installed and used (now removed): Windows Vista 64-Bit, Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit, Windows 2003 Server, Windows 2008 Server.

I'll have to check that for you.

Give me 5 minutes to find the original receipts. I have them filed carefully away somewhere, the trick is to remember where! Back in 5

Ok, just found the file. The invoice date is 23/06/09. So just under 2 months left on the server (unless the manufacture guarantee is longer than 12 months). The guarantee is only for the basic spec before I upgraded: the original unit included 1GB RAM (now swapped for a 2GB stick), the 160GB drive and the single DVD drive. All the other parts were bought separately and so have longer warranty. e.g. just found the 1GB Nvidia card receipt (£59.99) and that is dated 16 August 09.

Meet me in the middle at £235. The warranty may not be long but you know how stable these machines are, and it has hardly been used. Hasn't even been turned on in the last 3 months... :)

My original offer was going to be £200 and didn't want to be seen to be taking the "michael". Although they are good solid machine's this will only be used as a test machine and will prob sit around not doing much. Hence the £225 Max.

no_excuse, pls excuse my 24hr absence. :)

I'm 85 miles from Bradford, most northern part of Lancs, near the the Lake District. So I doubt collection is workable for you.
