FS: HTCMagic (google phone) - brand new still sealed £200.00

What can I say?

HTC Magic mobile, brand new, still sealed in box. Unwanted item, as I'm happy with my n96 and touch screens just aren't for me.

Pictures below show my ebay id, which is the same as HUKD username. See date of newspaper, to confirm item in my posession.

Phone *should* be unlocked (looking on google seems to suggest that they're all unlocked), but given that it's still in the sealed box, I'm unable to check, so perhaps safe for you to assume that it's locked to Voda, and if it's unlocked then it''s a bonus (and saves you a tenner or whatever unlocking it would cost!)

I'm wanting cash, no exchanges.

Please note that I'll not be posting the phone until full payment is received. I appreciate that I have no feedback on here, but have been a member for several years, and also have good feedback on ebay under the same username.
- neilmonk

Payment also acceptably via bank transfer or direct deposit into my HSBC account at a HSBC branch. These are much preferred over paypal, but still cash is king so if someone in South yorkshire area is interested, would be delighted to meet and exchange in person.

Shipping/Payment:
Payment by paypal gift or happy to meet and exchange in south yorkshire area (Doncaster, Rotherham, Sheffield, Barnsley and areas in between). If done in person payment is strictly by cash only and notes will be checked for coutnerfeits.

Postage by Royal Mail Special Delivery will be £5 extra.

I'll offer £130 if you are willing to send it first (as you have no feedback.
#4
Won't be sending first - I have plenty of feedback on ebay, and have sold several phones on there over the years (some much more expensive than this one).

£130 is waaaaaaaaaaay too low.

They go for £125 - £150 as an average. Check CEX for a guide (and they are normally over priced). http://www.cex.co.uk/products/Phones/Phone%20Handsets/Phones%20Vodafone/index.php?sku=SHTCMAGVODA&name=HTC%20Magic,%20Vodafone%20Mint%20Condition&mode=buy

As for Ebay feedback that isn't worth anything on here. Zero feedback = send first around here.

CEX are offering £90 something to buy it from me, doesn't mean I should sell it at that price.

Brand new sealed HTC Magics are going for £200+ on eBay.

I'll ignore the final comment of your post.

They sell them for £155 mate. Check the link I put up.

As for Ebay they can go for £150 or less Ebay item 120535156930 as example.

Remember that by selling it here you will save £15-£20 Ebay and Paypal fees.

As for my no feed back = send first comment. Sorry if you took offence but it is the standard practice here.

So £135 (you sending first) isn't unreasonable. If you want to counter offer then feel free.

not trying to hide any bad attitude, as I don't feel it's me with the bad attitude, I just decided not to ignore his comment, hence I edited my post to address it.

Apology accepted, but it's the internet, you're free to say what you wish.

But please, I'm not willing to post first so if that's no good for you, please respect that and move on?

Yeas, they sell them for £155, "mint condition". Mines still sealed so it is better condition! :)

No one on here will send you that kind on money with no feedback. And as for the price you won't get much over what I offered on here either. If you are sure you get £200+ on Ebay and have sold phones on here before I can only suggest you sell it there. Friendly advice mate.

I'm out. Good luck where ever you sell it.

Thing is, it's going to come across as bad attitude because the 'post first' thing is a bit of an unwritten rule in FS/FT (plus, no need for the phrase 'jog on'). You have no feedback and it's an unsecure transaction, unlike on ebay, so many people don't really care for ebay feedback one way or another. The general rule of thumb is that anyone who is just starting out needs to post first (but only to a member with a decent level of feedback). I'm sure you can appreciate why. It's all part of building up trust amongst other members- once other people see you posted an item first in good faith, then it reflects well that you're trustworthy.

You might occasionally find someone who'll take a gamble and pay you upfront, but I'd imagine you'd be unlikely to find anyone willing to pay upfront for a transaction of this amount. At the end of the day, you're under no obligation under the rules to post first but just be aware that you'll have a hard time finding a buyer if you don't. Just some friendly advice mate, good luck with your sale
