Can I ask where you purchased it from and if it has any warranty and also is it OEM or retail cheers
#3
Hi Neil,

Got it sent brand new from Intel at launch, I doubt it has warranty, these things hardly go wrong, especially this one as it was designed for overclocking. It is OEM, I tested it with a Corsair H50 watercooler.
#4
What would be the lowest you can go on this? Taking in to consideration I can get a brand new one from scan with 1 year warranty for £10 more.
#5
Make me an offer. Don't like ebay, so it's either you or CEX, I'm waiting for them to give me a price but it will probably be silly.
#6
Can you upload a picture please im also interested

Thank you

What does it come with?

You say they sent it you at launch? why is this.. is it one of those pre release ones anyway? If its the proper one i'll be very interested and offer £135.

Brendan,
It is a proper one. I am a Tech Journalist so I get a lot of stuff from Intel and other companies. They also sent me an i7 2600k which I am using and an i7 965EE which they sent 2 years ago that is still rocking it!

PM me with how you would like to proceed (Cash / Cheque / Bank Transfer) and your address. I can deliver in person if you are local (London) or can courier it to you.

mumbojumbo
Is this an engineering sample? If so, it's not supported by Intel and cannot be resold.

Nope, it's a standard OEM chip that was sent with a 2600K and 2 Sandy Bridge boards, they were all specially ordered for me. The engineering samples for this architecture were limited and sent to hardware manufacturers not journalists.
