thanks

is it really overpriced though? cosmetically damaged ones go for £270 with no accessories etc.

To answer the OP question

Last 7 to complete on ebay (granted some aint mint, but the ones that went for most are)

Item number: 180519164155
Item number: 200484316095
Item number: 230487671442
Item number: 110549814203
Item number: 230490104744
Item number: 110549793817
Item number: 190406409361

Going rate on ebay is £220-240 for a mint condition one.

People expect to pay that less fees. So £200-£220 on here

So in answer - yes - it is very overpriced and you may wish to revise.

Goodluck with your sale

Yes it is overpriced unfortunately! For example, iPhone 16GB 3GS's have been selling for £300-£320 in mint condition on eBay, and I was fortunate enough to snag a mint 32GB version for £316.

There are also a lot of 3GS's on these forums listed at £300-330 that are struggling to sell. I think with the imminent release of the 4th generation iPhone, prices have taken a knock. I don't want to suggest a price that you should sell at, as its up to you, but I wouldn't expect anyone to buy it at the current price.

So with that in mind, a 3G version should sell for significantly less!

thanks for the honest advice, unlike 'spritey' whos has been sending me PM's being quite rude.
U think £275 with everything would be more reasonable, given its condition?

yep-to answer your question m8-and trying to be helpful, this is over the top for a 3g-the accessories are kinda irrelevant, most people just want the phone-with the imminent release of the iphone 4,I really dont see you can get 300 plus quid for a 3g-even for a mint 3gs thats optomistic with the number of people trying to get rid to upgrade.

I think the lack of remaining warranty will put a lot of people off, so I think you'd be looking at closer to £200 than £300, the addition of the case and dock are a positive, unlike what the guy below has stated, and they can still fetch a bit on their own.

Good luck in selling though! (If people are hassling you, just "report" them, as it's not on.)

Just take it to CEX on the Headrow (noticed your from Leeds), you dont say if its locked or not but if its unlocked you can get £255 cash, no messing.

http://www.cex.co.uk/products/Phones/Phone%20Handsets/Phones%20iPhone/index.php?sku=SAPPIPH3G16GBUNLA&name=Apple%20iPhone%203G%2016GB%20Black,%20Unlocked%20Mint%20Condition&mode=buy

Consider ebay, paypal and postage costs into what you'll get on eBay then its a good deal as this price will surely go down as this model will be superceeded by 2 better models.

Plus you'll have the accessories to sell seperate.

Thread locked, in excess of 3 bumps.

The thread has already had thread spoilers removed to an extent, continuing with your 'thank you' and inviting other off topic posts re leeds just invites bumps.
