Hi,

First attempt at trying to sell anything so apologies if i break any rules.

I've just bought this LCD TV on impulse given the fantastic price for a TV of this quality from Dixons. The wife now wants a larger one and will not take no for an answer. It was only delivered yesterday so can return it back to Dixons. The TV is still boxed in its original packaging and has not been opened.

Great specs:

- Full HD (1920x1080)
- God knows how may thousands of contrast (I think about 50,000)
- Dual XD Engine
- Bluetooth (extremely rate feature) etc..

However, as i know this LCD TV is practically sold out from all Dixons (online) and their sister companies (Currys, PC World), if anyone is interested, they can have it for the current selling price.

This is an chance if anyone was interested in this TV but missed out on the recent offers.

Not a frequent seller (or buyer for that matter!) but have 100% ebay feedback.

Located in East London and cash on collection only.
Shipping/Payment:
Payment: Cash on collection, also have verified Paypal but would still prefer cash.
Shipping: Collection only from Bow (E3), London

#2
i give you 150 and can collect cash on collection

I can and most probably will if no one is interested. However, this gives someone a chance to get hold of this TV if they missed out on the recent offers from Dixons, Currys and PC World as they are unlikely to get stock for a while. Also, rumours that they will be increasing the price again.

As mentioned...not to fussed but gives someone a chance to get this TV if they are keen as its an excellent TV for the price.

Its a shame your so far away as I would have offered you my 37" lg lcd as a direct swap for this.

Sorry mate. As mentioned, just had this TV delivered yesterday, still boxed and unopened and can get the full price back from Dixons.

Was willing to give some fellow Hotukedeals member a chance to get this TV if they want BUT wasn't planning on giving it away.

Thanks for the offer though.

Appreciate the thought. Being the lazy one (blame it on ease of internet shopping) i couldn't even be asked to ship it, as Dixons will be more than happy to come and pick it up from home.

I'm also looking to sell another SHARP 26" LCD (sitting in the bedroom and most probably used less time than the number of fingers on my hand) as well as a Toshiba HD DVD player with some super films to raise more cash for the larger TV....christmas spending has really taken its toll :w00t:

just out of curiosity and being a newbie seller. What is a 'bump'?
#10
Bump is way of moving your thread up the list - however, that doesnt actually work in this forum does it?
#11
Thanks.

You learn something new everyday. Being a member of both MSE and Hotukdeals for so long (although not a regular poster as you may have gathered) that i still haven't picked up the technical lingo.
#12
bump works on mse, the list on there on grabbit etc boards is done by who posted last

Was looking to sell it as a package with the Toshiba HD DVD player and about a dozen films including (Transformers, Bourne series, Last Samurai, Heroes complete Season 1, Superman Returns, 300 etc...) for £350 as well.

A lot of the DVDs are still unopened and still in their polythene packaging....i'm sad to admit that i'm more of a 'collector' than user of gadgets and all this had cost me in excess of £600! The HD DVD player has only been used a couple of times! As you can imagine...the wife isn't a happy bunny most of the time. he he he
#15
You still got this? Ill have it.....
#16
Is this not the 1 that is £349 with a Blu-ray player?

If it is then you are kepping the blu-ray player and selling the TV for the same price?

Doesn't add up to me, unless I have the wrond deal in mind. :?

Still got the TV. Just about to go out...however as mentioned you will need to collect. Let me know if you want it.

In reply to the later post. Sorry, don't have the Blu-ray player. If this TV came with a blu-ray player for £350 than i'll be keeping them both as that would be the bargain of the century :w00t:

It is to sell at a profit from a deal off here.

Ask a mod if you don't believe me

If he/she proves the price they paid with a photo of the receipt then I will apologise. :-D
#28
I will offer £315 and will collect if you accept.

they will be happy yes, at a cost to you of £19.99 lol for them to come and collect it from you
#30
Please can you post an image of the receipt and TV? This can then be unexpired. Thanks.
#31
You going to add a picture?

Was wondering what happened to my sell item thread as couldn't find it anywhere!

Just realised it' had been expired and wasn't showing up on the threads.

Anyway, really annoyed that i've been accused of looking to make a profit. I'd bought the TV with an Nitendo Wii. I've put up the TV for sell as missus wants a larger TV at no more than the RRP price (no more and no less) as per the rules. The nitendo wii was going to go to my son. Now, if no one wants to pay that than thats their prerogative and i'm happy to withdraw the item and return one or both to Dixons and leave the thread as expired. Was only posted to help any fellow Hotukdealer who missed out.

If people want proof that i have the TV, than i will shortly try and post this using my laptop (have a bit of a corruption on the PC as its not allowing me to install the camera driver -keeps trying to find a network drive which no longer exists!)

Nobody is accusing you of anything. We just want to see the tv and the receipt.
#34
eh...how do you add images?

Clicked on the add image link but seems to ask for an URL address of image. Isn't it simply a case of browsing the hard drive?

Can you take a picture of the receipt clearly showing the price.
#38
yeah am keen will fetch over weekend. contact me if you keen. T
#39
Sorry. Can't be asked anymore and feel it has been a complete waste of my time engaging in this process. The deal which was completely genuine was baselessly expired by the mods and will now remain so. I've been the victim of too many frauds to even consider posting the reciept with my personal details on it.

Thanks to everyone for looking and good luck in finding the same for the bargain price you are looking for.

yes as per the rules of HUKD - you cant make a profit off something which was posted on here. The receipt would show that. You can blank out your personal details on the receipt with photoshop or whatever anyway.
