I've got a lot of old PC stuff that is probably destined for the bin but before i do i thought i'd offer it to anybody that wants to pay the postage....the main things (from the top of my head) are:

Socket 7 mobo (KG7 RAID i think)
PIII mobo
CDRW's
sounds blaster 5.1 platinum with drive bay break out box
various old sticks of ram
Geforce 2mx PCI
various old coolers

Probably other similar vintage stuff as well....will have a proper rake about over the next few days as i really need to get this stuff shifted!

soundblaster now gone

noticed today that the P3 mobo has the CPU still in it (1GHz)

also found:
ATI tv tuner (analogue)

thankyou man, not fussed about the colour, just been wanting something like this for a while seeming as my front audio doesn't connect to my motherboard, and i do a lot of music production and music listening.

have the other one man, it's only fair  dibs on the soundcard if there's only one of them though.
#13
no idea - i'll dig them both out and see whats there.....not too heavy so a few quid at a guess
#14
No need for SDR but laptop DDR could work. I have 5 old laptops I use for a specific work job, so a good chance one or two sticks might go to good use. I'll take the chance and pay postage if you can't be bothered to look through it . Thanks.

If you've got any pc100 or pc133 ram, I'd be interested.
#23
sorry guys - forgot about this thread....anyway, dug out the RAM and i've got a bag of 6 assorted sticks of PC100/pc133 if zaheer still wants (not sure what sizes - small probably!) and i found the sound blaster card and break out box (but no leads i'm afraid) if bilbo still wants....if you guys PM me your address i'll get the things off to you once i've sorted out the postage costs....
banned#24
if the breakout box and card will work fine, i'll still take please.
#25
so was there some old laptop ram for me then?
#26
i'm afraid i couldn't find the lappy ram - wasn't in the same box of junk as the other stuff but i'm sure it's about somewhere....if i come accross it i'll give you a nudge :-D

Found an old ATI tv card if anybody wants? Analogue only though....
#27
oh, and a 6gb 2.5 inch IDE drive :-D
#28
My old machines don't hold any data, only stream to a server, so l could use the IDE laptop drive as a backup. Do you happen to have any old SCSI / SCSI 2 cables or cards? I'm using 2 old printers that can only hook up to a single old desktop - would be good to hook one of them up to a newer model with a lead and connector (2 printers currently sharing 1)
