2 Months old, but now looking for a bigger one.
Has worked excellently for the time I've had it. Comes with 5 year limited warranty (sans 2 months), will include receipt.

Boxed, with all cables (USB & AC) and instructions. (Comes with UK and European plug adapter for some strange reason)

Formatted space = 698GB

Not really looking for any trades
Shipping/Payment:
1st Class Recorded Delivery (£4 to £6 I'd imagine)

Bank Transfer or Paypal Gift, either ways fine

S.Wales. I'd have to say no though, I need the funds to pay something towards a bigger one.
And at the moment from glancing, it's £50 for a 500gb and £75 for a 1TB. So £60 doesn't seem like a bad price.

I could offer £38

I think most people would avoid Iomega though (me included), I was thinking Seagate/Western Digital/Maxtor territory

£71.24 with 5% discount

My Maxtor/Seagate and my dads Western Digital 1TB's were on;y £62 back in February.

Where from... Anyways, Play/Ebuyer/Amazon (had a look before posting) you won't find that price range for a 1TB, or even a 750GB.

First Bump, Price £55

How come the formatted space is only 698gb when its a 750gb? just wondering.
#13
It's to do with the conversion from bit to byte and the overhead on the drive.

In bit, 1GB = 1000MB
In byte, 1GB = 1024MB

Divide 750GB by 1024MB and you get around 732GB

and then apparently you lose another 34GB in formatting.
Down to current formatting efficiency perhaps?
#14
Judging from the maths of it, it's a 93% thing.
232/250 = 93%
698/750 = 93%

If you say £50 then it's a deal

EDIT: Next post down.
#17
Actually I'm going to have to rescind that...£55 does seem reasonable, sorry for the confusion.
