Got a media player on my recent trip to taiwan. It catched my eye as it comes with HDMI output, Lan port, Remote and Bittorent support.

It has HDMI output that play 720p resolution. It supports bittorent download too. It comes with LAN support and remote control so you can have the comfort of controlling the content of your share folder in your PC. when viewing AVI file, it can display SRT subtitle format. It support popular format such as mp4, h.264, xvid, divx and rmvb encoding. It also play mp3 and jpg. More details can be found here.

by the looks of it its just a streamer i think - dont think its worth the 75 tbh as it hasnt got a hardrive in it :?

can i hear some more about this bit torrent support?

In regards to not being worth £75. Normally a standard media player, it wouldnt. But with NAS and torrent this is a real winner

Hi, I stay in Swindon.I didn't use it as my BT server yet, but I can post some screenshot tonight. Just if anyone interested, it also support RSS.

I can make an offer of £50?
#12
Seems like a steal! if I hadn't just built a Media Server i'd be tempted.
#13
I'm offering £60 all in?
#14
Thanks for the offer, I'm looking at £70.
#15
When you view large digital photos 6mp plus,How fast does it cycle through them,Are they slow to load ,i ask because i want something to use for everything,Music Pictures and videos,
#16
It is pretty fast, I don't think i'm displaying a 6mb file, but for a 4mb file, it display the time you press next.

Also included a picture of the BT. It is pretty fast, the rate after this photo as fast as 1xx kbps. But it takes a few minutes before it started to download in high speed though.

Right think i may weigh in on this. Can you please explain the pros and cons? does it come boxed? also what is happening in the picture above? and could i plug my external harddrive into it and play the files through my TV?

Can i download content using utorrent through this and they will transfer straight onto the hard drive plugged into it?

If the above is correct and i am happy with the pros and cons that you list then i would be happy to make an offer for 70 delivered for this.

Hi Scott, the previous photo showed 3 torrents are downloading, the top2 are old torrent that i believe the seed no longer exist. Yes, the torrent is downloading to the connected external hdd (NTFS partition).

If you refer to the link pointing to the manual, you will see this media player will play multimedia files from 2 source, the connect usb device or share folder in your home network.

There are too many pros to mention, like the variety video codec it can play, hdmi output, reading media from your local network, rss, bt.... ; as for cons, I can't really think of any. I have a simple home network, all my share folder is on my HTPC's hdd, and all my share folder only contents the media files. So far I didn't really have any problem with the box. Perhaps Bt doesn't start instantly is the only con I can think of as per my previous reply.

Yes, it comes in a box.

Ok i would be happy to offer 70 for this but cant pay via paypal as dont have an account but could pay via BT?

Also due to your low feedback, rep and posts would you mind if i paid half before delivery and then half once received?

I have good positive feedback and good rep and am not here to scam anybody (have had it done to me :x) so let me know if this would be okay?

Just like to reinforce if somebody doesnt see this i have made and Offer for 70.
#20

#21

#22
Wont let me BT over the internet for some reason but if you could still post tomorrow and i can BT monies tomorrow afternoon then all should be good as this is going to be a present for my dad for his birthday on wednesday so if you could send it first class recorded that would be brill. will PM this message also just incase you dont check the thread.
#23
Just so u know, recorded only insures up to £36 so would be better sending via special
#24
offer is still valid, just to clarify, reduction of my offer from £75 to £70 doesn't include postage, which was mentioned in the first post. £5 postage is an estimation for rm 1st class recorded.
#25
OP accepted my offer of 70 DELIVERED as in post #18 but then in PM proceeded to argue that i had to pay an extra fiver for delivery - changing the deal in PM is against the rules !!!

lol logo ripped from realplayer?
does it allow connection to private sites as i imagine it would be risky to connect to open trackers without it having somekind of peerguardian software on it if u know what i mean.
#31
I'm not sure, as I'm really not into peer to peer. Any taker?
#32
