FS: Microsoft Windows XP Professional Genuine New & Sealed £35.00

Genuine Microsoft Windows XP Professional

Genuine, OEM Windows XP Professional CD and an unused Product Key / COA (Certificate of Authenticity) Sticker.

This is NOT a branded version (such as Dell, HP etc) so will work on ANY PC or laptop.

It is the full edition and not just an upgrade.

This is a 100% Microsoft CD with a hologram and not a copy.

Please note, I do not know what service pack the CD is. However, the latest service pack (SP3) can be downloaded from the microsoft site or I can provide this on a seperate CD for you on your request.

Because it's OEM, and technically can't be sold on its own.

an OEM license must be sold "only with a fully assembled computer system."
#14

does that still stand though? as it was 4 years ago & play & other sites are selling them

so many fakes, I'd stick to buying these from a licensed reseller.

P.S. I'd be suprised if this isn't locked as HUKD's are like nazi's when its comes to rules.

Guys, its not like im selling a fake, this is legit software. I purchased a number of these some time ago some of which were never used, just trying to get some money back

i dont doubt it's genuine but oem software can only be sold with new hardware the mods usually close this type of thread straight away
just a friendly heads up i should report your own thread to a mod and ask as they have a habit of suspending people ;-)

the pictures got his name on it, and it's sealed, plus if your paying through paypal you can always claim if he mugs you off, this user has enough posts and positve feedback, so whats so bad about this sale?
#19
might be wrong, but i'm sure I have seen people getting round this issue by chucking in an old cheap item of hardware, such as a cheap mouse... of course I could be wrong and that could be total cr*p?
#20
nothing wrong at all if there was i'm sure a mod would have expired it by now, ebuyer and other places all sell oem software and you dont have to purchase a hdd or summit like that with it

nothing is bad about the user or the sale although you are wrong about paypal

Update, December 2005: In August of this year, Microsoft changed its OEM licensing rules, eliminating the silly requirement that you had to buy a trivial little piece of hardware along with an OEM operating system. Now, anyone can buy an OEM version of any Windows operating system, including Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005, if they are a “system builder.” And the rules of the System Builder specifically state that a hobbyist qualifies, without having to join any organization or pay any fees.
