This is the item in question: http://www.synthony.com/vintage/usbkeystations.html

I'm getting rid of this as it's taking up space and I'm never going to get around to learning to use it properly. I have used it before though and it's in full working order. There's no power supply (it never came with one in the first place) or driver CD, but I'll forward you the drivers via e-mail. It's powered via USB cable anyway (or batteries if you're old skool lol). It's boxed, and the box is somewhat beaten up on top but the controller itself is in good condition. It doesn't have a USB cable with it, as it didn't have one when I got it. It may have one lying about but am not promising that so work on the basis it wont have one and be pleasantly surprised if I do! It uses one of the standard USB to square USB connections.

Looking for £45 plus courier costs, which will be £7 including VAT with HDNL 24-72 hour service (I found that via parcel2go, you are welcome to use a cheaper service though if you are able to find one. The only exception is collectplus as I'm not lugging this to my nearest collectplus store.)

I can't really answer much in the way of questions as to what you can do with it, as I'm not specifically sure- but I'm sure this may appeal to people who know what it is! :)
Shipping/Payment:
£7 for HDNL Standard.

So it's powered by USB, but you aren't going to include the power supply in the sale?

Interested BTW.

Will this work with Sibelius, Reason and Cubase?

It didn't come with a power supply mate.

Contents as listed on box:

- 49 Key MIDI controller
- Driver and software CDs
- 3 foot USB cable

I never had the CDs or USB cable with it, but I'm saying I'll chuck one in if I have it spare

I couldn't honestly say about Cubase/Reason/Sibelius, I'm just not clued up. It was originally my intention to be but that never quite happened!

EDIT: We did use it with a piece of software, just can't remember which. It mayyyyyy have been Reason, but I can't honestly be sure.

I'd have thought that the Cubase/Reason/Sibelius websites might provide the answers for any prospective buyer.

i have a midi controller the 'm-audio oxygen' v3', m-audio were formerly known as midiman previously, mine is powered by nothing more than a usb cable, so i presume yours is too. i use it with fl studio, cubase & reason, so you should have no problem with that.

Sorry mate, looking for closer to asking. I'll drop to £40 plus delivery though. In all honesty, I can see no reason why any MIDI controller wouldn't work with said programs, given their nature. Plus, there's vids of people using Keystations on Fruity Loops and Reason on youtube, so I'm happy enough that there really are no problems in that regard, given what Bilbo Bargains has said too.

You know what, I'd prefer to have the space so I'll just let this go for your £30 offer, as long as that's £30 plus postage. In fact, I'll just do a flat £35 delivered for the sake of getting rid lol :-D
