Bought this item last week but it's incompatible with my chipset for my incar PC (really old VIA motherboard). However it works fine with all 12 other computers i have tried and tested it with.

Only reason i am selling is because i wanted it solely for my incar PC and it won't work so instead i am selling this to buy a lilliput monitor.

RRP is £118 (grab yourself a bargain)
Image on screen just looks like that because of my camera, it's crystal clear in person

is it single/multi touch???
#3
Single touch, it's only resistive but the touch does work really well for a resistive
#4
what the hell does that mean lol

Resistive touchscreens are touch-sensitive computer displays composed of two flexible sheets coated with a resistive material and separated by an air gap or microdots. When contact is made to the surface of the touchscreen, the two sheets are pressed together. On these two sheets there are horizontal and vertical lines that when pushed together, register the precise location of the touch. Because the touchscreen senses input from contact with nearly any object (finger, stylus/pen, palm) resistive touchscreens are a type of "passive" technology.

As opposed to Capacitive touch that you would get in the likes of a Samsung Galaxy S or a iPhone

A capacitive touchscreen panel is one which consists of an insulator such as glass, coated with a transparent conductor such as indium tin oxide (ITO).[11][12] As the human body is also an electrical conductor, touching the surface of the screen results in a distortion of the screen's electrostatic field, measurable as a change in capacitance. Different technologies may be used to determine the location of the touch. The location is then sent to the controller for processing. Unlike a resistive touchscreen, one cannot use a capacitive touchscreen through most types of electrically insulating material, such as gloves; one requires a special capacitive stylus, or a special-application glove with finger tips that generate static electricity.

(borrowed the definitions from wikipedia, was easier than trying to explain)

i use a iphone all the time,so what does this mean about this.is it pretty descent at detecting being pressed and how does this work if i have this and another screen setup??
#7
Just means with this you will be able to use a stylus with it and you will actually feel the screen press as you touch it, imagine a Nintendo DS touchscreen, it's similar to that. As for using it with another screen it just goes side by side with it, like this:

so it really is better to use a stylus rather than ur fingers???
#9
Nah fingers are fine for it, depending on what app you use with it, i tried it with spotify and found i was using my fingernail more than actual finger coz it was just that little bit more accurate with the small writing
