Selling with reluctance. Bought for my brother a couple of months ago until he told me he wanted a PAL version! Instead of cancelling the Jap deal, we kept it as a second Wii for ourselves, the idea being to save cash that would otherwise be spent on games the kids wanted. In the meantime, I've been let down by someone who promised those games as part of another deal. And we aren't using it with the games we do have for it as most of them aren't suitable for younger kids. So all-in-all it is simply wasteful to have this gathering dust. (In fact, it is now back in the box so isn't even doing that!).

The Wii is approx a year old and has the WiiKey chip installed, latest firmware. It is in perfect working order, boxed as new and comes with all the hardware that comes with a new Wii. Since I gave the Wiimote and Nunchuck that came with this to my brother, I will supply a brand new boxed Wiimote (unused) and a Nunchuck and a Wii Jacket. Also included is a generic Gamecube controller (used but in good working order) and a Gamecube memory card so that you are all set up to play GC games. I will also supply a DVD case which has been used to hold 30+ Wii back-up discs. It goes without saying that the case will be empty of DVDs, as I can't sell copies on here...

As you probably know, the Wii menus are in Japanese but they are exact copies of the English menu, so easy to understand. It plays English games and all the menus on the games are in English just as with the originals.

I have this available for collection only at this stage. Hopefully somebody in the NorthWest is interested. Saturday morning is my preferred collection time. I'm more busy than usual atm, so please excuse in advance any slow responses to questions. Thanks.

Collection - £180.

I may be interested in this... but have only just started looking at Wii purchases and have only used a Wii a couple of times. The purchase would be for my nephew - not myself though.

The bit that I am a bit concerned about is

"the Wii menus are in Japanese but they are exact copies of the English menu"

My nephew (nor me) can read Japanese... so am a bit concerned about how this would affect the use of it.

Anyway - first things first. I am in the North West and so are you... but where abouts exactly as it is a pretty big place as you know?

Also - you say it is in perfect working order. That is the most important factor... but what is the physical condition of the Wii?

Thanks in advance!

Hi there - you just caught me before bed. Sorry, brief answer and back tomorrow:

I'm in Lancaster. The Wii is in pristine condition as well as perfect working order. In fat the only item that even has a scratch is the gamacube controller, as I bought it as part of a package used GC deal fro gamecube.

As for the menus, what I mean is that they are the same as the English ones except it has Japanese. If you know the basic menu commands of the wii then you'll know intuitively which to press. Ill try a find an online set of sample of what I mean; this might make my poor explanation a bit easier to understand!

Thanks for the interest and goodnight.
