Thats how i am running at the minute but my sata hard drive spins down occasionally but when plugged into the motherboard runs fine. As to reason i wanted to upgrade to board with more sata connections, thanks for the suggestion anyway

I would have to have payment upfront then , as explained i am using the processor at the minute. All is working fine , but any probs its still under guarantee anyway. Ill find the original processor box to post which has 3 years warranty anyway and the board is under warranty from where i bought it from.(ebuyer)

Cant go no lower than £60 , and im not sure but i think the 3 year warranty is done by the serial no# on processor.

Just double checked and the warranty is done by serial.:)
