I'm not interested in buying., but just out of interest, why are you selling the Hub for £3, yet the older Netgear for £6?

The BT Hub has Wifi N and is a more advanced hub, worth considerably more now than the older G equipped netgear....?

oh the answer is because BT Home Hub can only be used by BT broadband customer hence the price (also every BT customers is given free Home Hub anyway). However if u could unlock the Home Hub then it could be used by any network provider. Hope this answer your question

I suppose, but I still think you are underselling yourself on the hub. They go for about £20 elsewhere....

A bargain for anyone interested.

Good luck :P

Re the BT hub, they can be unlocked, if its a Type A it can be unlocked via software, a Type B needs soldering shenanigans... (the type [A/B] is on the back of the device)

Well after spending a couple of hours looking on the net I cannot believe I have now unlocked BT Home Hub. (thanks to the tip from dt_matthews). As a result I am sorry to say that I am a little cheeky to now withdraw the Home Hub from the sale, as I have been wanting a replacement for my current D-Link wireless router which has super weak WIFI signal. (especially apologies to sunpreet who has offered to buy it at asking).

I must say if anyone is still looking for one, unmod BT home hubs are widely available at this price in the famous bidding website.

Netgear Wireless G Router WGR614 v6 are now dropped to £10 delivered
