New drive that will back up your Wii games. Had it for a couple of months and only tested to make sure it's working (after loads of hassle to get the proper caddy for it!). Comes with a BN external aluminium case with external power, firewire leads and USB leads. Picture to follow later. Similar to ebay item 330254291256 but my caddy is a Safecom External Portable box. USB 1.1/USB2/Firewire interfaces, (cables included) , mains powered, PC, MAC and Linux compatible. The caddy can house either a 5.25 or a 3.5 inch IDE hard disk and allow that disk to be connected via a USB or Firewire port to your computer. New and unused

Ok - I'm drastically reducing this for a quick sale (hopefully!). It's now without the external caddy, so the drive on it's own. Tested and working.

BUMP - Had forgotten all about this. Still in the cupboard, boxed!

And now reduced - this is a bargain for someone who wants to back up their original Wii games. :)

Hi Liddle, I'll take it if we can sort out delivery.

I'm not sure where abouts you are but I seem to recall you might be near me. I'm in Preston.

oops ... just re-read the description - does this not have an external casing anymore?

I'm useless at these sorts of things and pressume I need one to use it externally.

hi neilc - yes, I am in Lancaster. And yes, I'm keeping the caddy so unless you have a computer than takes IDE drives then you'd need one. Let me know if you are still interested

Ok, np's - if you get hold of a 5.25" caddy, it's a simple matter of plug and play, so please come back if you find one someone cheap :) Sorry, but want to keep the one I have already.
