They arent worth anywhere near that.

How many points are on each card?

You can buy 2000 points for about £15, so if you are selling for £21.50 I would expect 3000+ points.
#5
You must be joking surely with that prices. You could buy a ds game for £10 and get the free points
#6
I have no idea how much - make an offer!

The points card you refer to are different - these points allow you to get free stuff from VIP Nintendo - wallpapers, key rings etc..... useful if there is something you want.
Expensive for something that will really get you noting more than downloadable content.
IMO

I've a couple of Wii Play codes unsed if any one wants them.
#9
Useful if someone's a couple of hundred points short of a Mario shoe horn or some other Nintendoesque poundland tat...

me please?

Considering you have to trade 2000 points for a £1.99 Mario Kart figure on the site, I'd just give them away or ask for 25 pence.

How do I know what points are on a card? From the "interesting" responses obviously they are not worth anything so I may file them in the wpb. If you're able to tell me how to find out (if i can) then great but if you want to make ANY offer then please go ahead.

BTW Thank you for sending a nice response to a novice. I was a bit put off this morning! :)

it's 250 stars on each card for a game and 400 stars per card if it's from hardware. These aren't Wii shop points. I'll give you 50p for all of them.
#14
hahahahahaha

you must be joking.
#15
Melmorc... A good price for these would be about a pound each.

I know that people would be happy paying that, as like has been pointed out above, some people are just short of the required number of points for certain items. See here for a thread where I myself made a few quid on these... there was a fair bit of interest, too.

There is more than just 'poundland tat' on the Nintendo website (when it's in stock, lol)... I got a baseball cap, t-shirt, 4 keyrings, mario kart racers, etc. There are a lot of people that collect this kinda stuff, and I bet if I tried selling the T-shirt and cap on here, I would make a fair bit of money.
#16
In all seriousness i will give you £2 via paypal for the lot. You could email the codes instead of posting them.
#17
Can someone explain what the difference is in these "VIP" points?

I am just after some points so that I can downloads some virtual games to my sons console, not interested in keyrings, caps etc. :)

You can exchange the Star Points for Wii points, and the transaction rate, is something like 400 star points = 100 wii points. Then, you need 400 wii points for a NES game, and more for other console's virtual games....

You need to link your Club Nintendo account with your Wii, as explained here to purchasse the Wii points with your Star Points.

It's a bit of a rigmarole!

woohoo just found a DS points card and a game points card in the house- I'MM RICHHH!!!

in all seriousness OP, you must be a bit daft if you think Nintendo are gonna put a bit of paper worth a fiver in with every game.

Okay, so "VIP" means nothing!

I have already linked the account etc, I was only able to convert my 1st set of stars this morning at 6.30am after weeks of trying.

I thought that these were already points, and so able to use immediately without having to get up at some un-godly hour of the morning for days at a time because they only let me convert 1 batch at a time.

I think they ditched the VIP thing at Christmas - they're trying the Club Nintendo branding more now...

Well, the first time I tried converting them, the site crashed... they took my star points, and didn't give me my Wii points! No end of emails later, and still no Wii code, or refunded Star Points... :-(

sucks!

Yup! It was only for 100 Wii points, mind... but I have 900 Wii points sitting in my account, and that would have allowed me to buy a N64 virtual console game! Hmph! ;-)

How wrong you are. Something is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. It's so nice to have such "welcoming" comments from people - I thought HUKD was a nice place but ....

Anyway, many thanks to Hodsey77 for your kind comments - put a smile back on my face and maybe this isn't sucha bad place after all - thanks!

Be warned, converting these to Wii points is an absolute nightmare. each day only cetain amounts can be exchanged and there are limited exchanges meaning it could take a week to convert 2000 points.
#28
Well I was going to order some mario kart figurines, lo & behold everything except the wallpapers are sold out.

Mate you must be having an absolute laugh if you think you'll get that much for them...
#29
My offer still stands.

Thornedlily - I will accept your offer (mainly cos i'm getting fed up with the coments!) and I'll pm you my details in the morning. Reason being the cards are locked in my desk at my work. Hope this is ok? Thanks.
#31
:x IMO there is NEVER anything available to buy anyway - it's always sold out so what is the point of buying these vouchers.
#32
Details PM'd to Thornedlily.
#33
Money Rec'd and codes sent.
#34
All the points worked :) have just bought 1000 wii points with my stars now. :D Thanks.
#35
Opps, sorry meant to say i couldn't use the wii sports one as already had registered that. If anyone wants it for free let me know.
