For Sale

Nokia E61i in excellent condition with original box including all accessories (even the small plastic bags from the box)

The phone was bought directly from Nokia (http://shop.nokia.co.uk) on the 2nd of May 2007 for about £330. Right now its selling for £279.99.

It was unlocked when i bought it (and still is :P)

Excellent phone, got it as an upgrade to my old E61, and i am now upgrading to E71. (Yes i am a smartphone fanatic and the nokia E series are the best - and yes i've had 4-5 windows mobile ones as well as an iphone)

I won't bore you with the technical details but feel free to ask if you need any info.

Ideally I would like at least £200 for it as its really well taken care of and an excellent phone to boot.

my ebay id is antonis2005 and i got feedback rating 185 - 100% positive

(http://feedback.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=antonis2005&ftab=FeedbackAsSeller my feedback as a seller, most of the items are my previous phones)
Will send by Royal Mail Special Delivery to ensure its delivered safe or buyer could pick up from Derby city center. (For that reason postage is extra to the asking price, i would say RM would want about 6-7 pounds)

Payment by Paypal, Bank deposit (Natwest preferred but HSBC and Nationwide accepted)
(If by paypal i'll split the Paypal costs with buyer)

Just realised i forgot to include the charger in the photo. It is included in the sale too.

nobody interested?
Ian Beale uses an E61 doesn't he? ;-)
Nice phone though, if you are a businessman.
who's Ian Beale? :P

and i am just a student albeit a mature one

So you don't watch Eastenders then? :)
Oh well, it was a free bump for ya.
How much i would love this phone i cant put into words.

Realistically i cant even afford a used nokia e61i on ebay (one went for 100 tonight), or even an e61 :-(

I hate being 15 and having to start thinking about saving for a car allready...Since my parents split up and my dad has become more disabled and had to retire, they have less money, and wont be able to help fund a car or insurance at all for my sister and/or I :-(

Good luck with your sale, maybe i will have an E61 oneday, when even the E61i is old, and they are on the E89 lol!

scribbles, no i dont watch eastenders as you guessed.
thanks for the bump though :P

matt, sorry to hear about your circumstances
thanks for the good luck wish but i dont think luck is helping in this instance

Yeah, no one seems interested...

Shame, great phone.

People seem to be put off by a wide (but thin) phone when i show them what i want :-(
yes, indeed its a shame as its so thin you can hardly notice it in your pocket.

and to think people go crazy for phones like n95 which is more than double the thickness

And is just as good, but the e61 is better with the keyboard, but the cam isnt as good...

The E61 is for me because i post alot on forums, and catching up on things when im bored someone and posting is a positive. The cam is handy, but only when out, and i can cope with 2mp or no cam at all... I mean i get a full keyboard and wi-fi, i can cope without having a cam while out and about, afterall i have a good cam at home!

I dont text/phone alot, so PAYG i would keep, but would love web anywhere with no caps or extra costs.... Would be able to hook up and post & check mail before school, the wi-fi in some buildings is WEP encrypted , if not i would use it and then just cope with being bored on the bus :-)

well true, the cam is not as good as in n95, but the e61i beats it in most other areas

i am using the phone on the o2 unlimited web (with a fairusage of 200mb) and i use it just as you descibed. i also use jaikuspot to provide wireless internet to my ipod touch which amazes quite a few people when they see me browsing on the ipod touch where there are no public spots etc

So how much does the o2 package cost? I would be interested in that if i got a wi-fi enabled phone i could use this at school where i cant hack the wi-fi with a little phone, and on the bus. The rest of the time, wi-fi in bed, and when i need to check something before school. The wi-fi when in shopping centres occasionally etc.

200mb isnt bad, i dont think i would blow that? I survive at home with 1-2.5gb a month.
well i use it frequently to check stuff when there's no wifi and i've never got over the limit so you should be fine. the unlimited web is a £7.50 to my o2 simplicity contract, but its the same price on payg too.

Three give you 1GB for £5 (contract) and T-Mobile give you 1GB or 3GB (not sure) for £7.50 again you need a contract
£200 new here http://www.mobilephoneshere.com/nokia-e61i--27-p.asp

not sure what delivery is
Cool, when i finally get an old e61 i should look into this.

I dont call or text much but sometimes heavily for a spell when i meet a girl, so dont really need a contract. Maybe a contract with 200 texts max i think, and maybe 10min :p

Seems virgin bumped up the cost of a text to 12p, unless it depends on which outside network, so changing provider would be ok, i would just morph the new sim and the virgin one into one sim, as dad and sister are on virgin, so texting them costs very little, and put my old virgin number on the o2 payg account.
